I guess the plan b pill does a good thing. It shouldn't be needed by young teens but since it won't change they could at least have this. I don't think it will increase sexual activity. Most teens using it would probably be active whether or not they have the pill. If the age wasn't lowered it might keep some couples out of trouble.

I think that it can help prevent more pregnancies from teens. I think that it just shows what our world is coming to. Yes, I believe it will cause now the pill will help them to most likely not get pregnant.

I don't really know what to think about the Plan B pill. I suppose it would be a useful thing if you are sexually active and don't want to get pregnant. I think even though the age requirement has now been lowered to 15, it doesn't matter because if you're 15 and want to take part in sexual activities bad enough, you'll do it anyway. I think it will increase safer sexual activity among young teens but I do not think the sexual activity rate will go up as much.

If you need Plan B then I guess you can use it for good but you shouldn't use often. Plan B shouldn't be needed but 15 year old, that's crazy. I might increase sexual activity among teens because they will think they're good with Plan B.

I think it would be good to use if you forgot to take birth control. I don't think it matters because she said even 14 year olds are having intercourse. I don't think it will matter.

I agree that the "Plan B Pill" should be available to younger teens. If they want to lower the age requirement it's pretty obvious that teens are having sex at a younger age and they want top help make the pill available to them. I don;t think this will increase sexual activity for teens, I think they lowered the age because those teens are having sex.

I don't really care about this Plan B thing. Although I do find the name mildly amusing for some reason, I don't care that the requirement on the age is only 15. The people who make this are realistic. Young people are having sex. However, I don't think changing the sale age requirement will affect that in a noticeable way. Any teenagers who are going to have sex probably would have done it whether or not some age restriction changes.

I think this pill is very necessary. In reality more teens now a days are having sex as young as 15. It's definitely going to increase sexual activity among teens because they know the pill is accessible to them so they think it's okay.

I think that the plan be is kinda a good thing. If it not an abortion than I am good with it. I would rather them take the pill before than kill a baby! This may cause more sexual activity because they know they cant get pregnant. Birth Control does not always work, so who knows if this really work or not.

I think the plan B pill is a good idea. I feel its a good idea because there are people that do have unprotected sex and this could help them out a lot. This will increase sexual activity, because people feel that they can have unprotected sex and not have to worry about a baby.

I don't think there should be a Plan B at all. Having this pills increase sexual activity in teens. That pill will make them feel like " Ok I can do this and I'll just pop a plan B pill". Honestly I think that if you have some thought that you can be pregnant after a night of sexual activity there's no need for Plan B, cause if you're woman enough to lay they then you're woman enough to take care of a child. Simple as that.

The Plan B pill is something that has been around for a while and I believe it is something that needs to stay around. I agree with changing the age requirement. In the video, the maturity factor was brought up. In reality, if someone is mature enough to have sex, they are mature enough to deal with the consequences of their decisions. Whether we realize it or not, more and more children are participating in such activities at a younger age now. Lowering the age requirement won't increase sexual activity because children are going to do it anyway. Many do not think about the possible outcomes when making an irrational decision to have sex or more irrationally, unprotected sex.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the Plan B pill. It is a good thing to help better protect yourself from getting pregnant, but it shouldn't be abused. They only lowered the age restriction because of the fact that young teens are having sex. The age requirement won't have any effect on teens' sexual activity. Teens are going to do what they want, no matter what.

Sexual activity among teens is definitely going to rise after they see this, and commercials concerning. The Plan B pill, in my mind, is for emergencies only; just like a credit card being handed to a 10 year old. This pill is going to be abused and used on purpose and bought ahead the time of the "event." The pill may stop you from having a baby, but won't stop the STDs, NOR the emotional distraught and regret that these teens will have once they realize the mistake they made.

The Plan B pill can be good thing, but yet can have its cons. The pill will help teens not get pregnant, but it makes it easier for teens to be sexually active. If teens want to be sexually active they will, but at least the pill will be out there to protect them from getting pregnant. I think the pill will cause an increase in sexual activity among young teens.

The Plan B pill has pros and cons; I don't know what to think about the pill. The only thing the requirement will affect is an increased rate of STDs. The Plan B pill being over the counter will not increase sexual activity among young teens. If the teens want to engage in sexual activity they already are. Now that the pill is offered over the counter teens are going to turn away from their parents and turn to the pill, which is so pathetic.

The Pill has pros and cons. It prevents pregnancy, but it makes it easier for teens to become more sexually active. The age requirement has the same pros and cons. Teens are already sexually active these days, and if teens think that they have it all figured out, they will become more sexually active.

I think it be good i guess. The age limit is to 15 you got to start early. It will increase activity among teens.

It can be a good thing, but also a bad thing. It will not do anything really teens are already having sex. It will probably increase sexual activity.

Kelsey Taylor said...

I think this will increase sexual activity because more teens will use it and think they're safe. But if it reduces teen pregnancy then it's good.

I'm not sure if I like the pill or not. I don't think them lowering the age really matters because it's just like anything else that is illegal, under age people will find a way to get it. Just because they lowered the age, it doesn't mean that the sexual activity will increase if they want to have sex they will. I think that the Plan B pill might prevent some abortions in the future but the pill is kind of like an abortion it prevents you from getting pregnant rather than getting pregnant then having an abortion.

I don't know what to think about the pill. If younger teenagers are taking the pill then it would be better for them. Yes this will increase sexual activity among teenagers even more.

Honestly, I don't like plan B. I don't believe in it. But why would you lower it to that age for? That's ridiculous. I truly do think it's going to rise sexual activity in young teens.

Abby Haring said...

The plan B pill is not a bad thing. You can't keep your head in the ground, younger kids today are having sex. This is just another precautionary way to keep from getting pregnant. I don't believe this will increase sexual activity because regardless if someone wants to have sex they will. This pill is not 100% affective and neither is birth control or condoms so if you make these decisions you will be at risk.

Plan b is smart for someone thats not ready for a kid yet. I think the age thing might be good since kids are having kids a young ages. Idk if this will increase kids sexual activity cause they are gonna do it anyways.

I think the pill is necessary for young women and older women. You should be protecting yourself from getting pregnant, but some things happen and this might help. I do think the pill will increase sexual activity because Plan B will be offered over the counter and they will turn to the pill thinking there will be no consequences if they take it.

The Plan B pill will prevent more teen pregnancies. I don't know if it will increase sexual activity. People will do what they want to do.

Kellie Matthews said...

The Plan B pill is not necessarily bad, but it has to be used with maturity. I think that some parents have a blind eye towards sex, yet big companies like this one, and doctors know what actually happens among teens. I don't think that this will increase sexual activity, but I think that teens won't have to go to their parents anymore.

Tessa Altman said...

I think this pill could be a good thing if used properly. I don't think they should have lowered the age to 15. This is going to allow young girls to continue to participate in sexual activity and not be on birth control. Yes, I do think this will increase sexual activity because some children do not want to inform there parents there sexually active and they have to in order to be on birth control, where as now that they have reduced the age these kids have more free reign.

I believe the "Plan B" pill should be available for those 15 and over. I do think that those that are sexually active should have checkups, and they wouldn't be able to do without their parents, and this means many girls don't necessarily have to tell their moms. Some families do not have the relationship to do so. I don't think this pill will increase sexual activity, because if they desire to do such a thing they will, and this pill is very expensive. Many 15 year olds do not have jobs, or the money to pay for this pill.

I guess that it will stop some teen pregnancies. I think it will increase sexual activity in younger teens.

I think it can help I guess. I think it's a good thing that they lowered the age. More and more girls are having sex and getting pregnant. If someone wants to have sex then they're going to have sex regardless. They just need to realize that this is not meant for protection against STD's and they still need to be safe regardless.

I think that this will help stop teen pregnancies. I think that it is a good thing that they reduced the age requirement for all the teens getting pregnant. I think that this will increase sexual activity for teens.

I have heard about the plan b pill. In someways I do feel that it is a good thing to have because accidents happen and not every teen girl thinks clearly about going to get an abortion. I feel like abortion scares them so they turn to the pill the day after because taking pills aren't scary. As far as the age requirement being reduced to 15, in my opinion I don't think that teen girls should be putting themselves out there like that to the point where eventually they have to seek help because they weren't "safe" as in using protection. I don't think it'll have much effect on sexual activity because regardless if the age was reduced or not. Young teens are still going to continue to be sexually active. The pill is kinda of like a crutch to fall back on the day after.

I'm really not sure about this pill. Maybe the pill itself is ok, but the age is not. Yes, teens of all different ages are having sex, but a pill is just a levy for them now. Although the pill is expensive, people (less mature) are going to abuse this. This does not make sex "safer" in any way shape or form. I can't believe what the world is seriously coming to. The TV is already flooded with sex, we have free clinics for ANYONE and now we have pills that a 15 year old can buy. It's just unbelievable to me how much easier they've made it for kids to be sexually active. It is not because "they're going to have sex anyway," they have all of these different sources now that their parents don't even have to get involved in. If kids, teens, etc. will pay an excessive amount for one pill, they might as well get a box of condoms because you'll get way more for less! I don't think I agree with the pill or maybe just the age? I don't agree with much of anything anymore and yet people wonder why so many statistics, that should be low, have shot through the roof.
