Is cheating a big deal? Does the type of assignment (SOL, project, research paper, test, classwork, homework) determine whether or not cheating matters to you? Have you ever cheated on any type of assignment? How bad do you consider the cheating that took place in the video? 99% of the work I've done in high school I've cheated to do. I personally don't think it's a big deal, but maybe that's because I do it all the time. Cheating became way easier once we go the iPads, people could just iMessage you the answers or email them. Sometimes we even showed the teacher the same iPad.
Cheating, to me, is a huge deal. It does not matter the type of paper or the situation. Cheating is cheating.c Yes, I have cheated before. I think that everybody had cheated once in their high school life. I always let people copy my work. I get really mad but I don't want them to fail. Cheating is harder now, well depending on the teacher, because most teacher know about it already. So the teachers keep a look out and will get you.

Cheating is morally wrong. However, it is very present in schools every day. I bet 85% of students would admit to cheating in one way or another. Some kids have used phones to look up information, put notes in the desk, or even used a little "teamwork" on an assignment. I have cheated on a quiz one time. I put my math notes in my desk. I have never plagiarized a paper or anything like that. I'm not that dumb. All teachers have to do is type a sentence or two into Google and bam there's "your" paper. I don't consider what happened in the video cheating, it is working smarter, not harder. No teacher could ever prove that you cheated. With technology and ads like what were illustrated in the video, cheating is easier than ever.

I don't care about cheating. If you cheat, you're the person who's going to fail. I've never cheated ever. Not on tests, not on homework. I don't think it was too bad. I think the cheating is ridiculous. I could not identify with either person. And cheating has never been easier than before.

The type of assignment is what defines cheating to me. Homework or classwork I don't consider it a big deal to cheat, but on tests or projects it is a big deal. I mean it's homework that is meant to "help" you. But really, homework is just a burden on a high school student who has a bunch of other extra-curricular activities going on as well. I've cheated on homework before but never on a test or a quiz. With the iPads, cheating did become a little easier. You could just look up the answer or use google translate in a foreign language class. But homework assignments are not as big as a deal as other things.
In some cases cheating IS a big deal. When I work really hard on an assignment it bugs me to see someone who spent no time on an assignment other than 2 minutes searching the web, or cheating in a different fashion, get a higher grade than me. They don't get the grade they deserve; but in that case, wouldn't that mean that I didn't get the grade that I deserved? Although I do work hard to keep my grades up, I have cheated before. I wouldn't partake in the cheating represented in the video. It's a competitive world out there and I am not going to write papers for someone that could have the potential to get ahead of me. And I would NEVER risk $100 for the possibility of a C- on an essay. I know I can write a more powerful essay than a C-. It would not be worth their time, my time, and my money getting someone to write my papers. I would, however, give them tips or help them with their organizational structure in the assignment. I would rather serve as a guide than a giver. But since I would put my own paper off until the last minute, I wouldn't want to have the burden of writing anyone else's paper. I'd be better off getting paid to do someones laundry! (That's been my main chore since I was in elementary).

I have cheated on homework and small class assignments, but never something like a paper. I think the cheating in video is pretty bad, and shows they're lazy. Whats the point in paying all that money to go to college, just cheat your way through, and not learn anything? You won't be successful. Cheating is a lot easier now that we have Ipads.
It really depends on the person, but I think cheating is a big deal. Whether it's cheating on a test, quiz, or etc. cheating on an assignment is wrong. The cheating on the video is horrible because the college students don't have to do anything or learn anything. Cheating is way easier now especially with phones and ipads.
Many people will argue that cheating is a big deal, but I disagree. Cheating on a SOL or research paper is totally different than cheating on classwork or homework. It shouldn't seem like a big difference because cheating is cheating. Sadly, I have cheated on an assignment before. I would never go to the extreme of letting someone else write a huge research paper for me. I would feel super guilty.
To me cheating isn't a big deal, but I'm not saying it's right either. To me a grade isn't going to determine my future. That is why I tend not to take it has hard if I was to make a bad grade.If you fail one make up for it on the next test.

This is horrible who would ever break the code of ethics by buying a paper online. I don't understand why someone would cheat their way through college like this. I dont think I would ever do this because it just simply isn't the right thing to do. I would much rather write my own paper to see what i can get on my own.
Cheating isn't the best thing to do but have I done it? yes. Whether I find it necessary or not is either when I have worked all night and just didn't have time to do my homework or if I missed a day and just copied a worksheet. Although it did not benefit me at all you have to do what you have to do sometimes. I think the cheating in the video was a little over kill. I would never pay anyone to do an assignment for me. Cheating is cheating its all in how you do it that would make it easier or not.

I do feel as if some teachers put it on students to cheap for example if you have to complete the WHOLE homework to get the grade then you are compelled to cheat and ask a fellow classmate for their paper. Cheating on a sol or a major test is bad, but sometimes you need help with homework and you just borrow someone’s paper. I would have to say that I am the one paying someone else to write my paper but only because I can not write a paper or read a book and then write a report on it.
