Do you think the government should regulate television shows aired on broadcast TV before 10pm? Why or why not? If so, do you think the government is currently doing a good job regulating cursing, nudity, and sex on TV during hours when kids are likely to be watching? Because times have changed and kids have access to cable or satellite TV and the internet, should the government, if the Supreme Court calls for continued regulation, allow more "racy" content on broadcast TV? Why or why not?

Yeah, because kids should not be seeing nudity and or hearing foul language. No, I don't think the government is doing a very good job in regulating television shows. I don't agree with some of the television shows out there because they are just about drugs sex and alcohol, shows don't really have a plot to them anymore.
I think the government should regulate television shows aired on broadcast TV before 10 pm. Young children shouldn’t be exposed to certain “racy” things such as nudity, cursing and sex. Obviously those things will never be taken off of TV for good, but there should be a way to more closely regulate what will be shown while children are likely to be watching. Just because those kinds of things are easily accessible on the internet doesn’t mean the content should be increased on television. I believe the Supreme Court would judge in favor of the point of view that children should not be exposed to those things therefore calling for a regulation of television shows aired on TV before 10 pm.
Yes I do think the government should regulate TV shows. I don't think their doing a good job because that stuff is still being implied in tv shows. No they shouldn't because it won't do any good if they allow kids to watch that stuff.
I think they should because little kids don’t need to see all that. The government isn't doing a good job of regulating TV shows. Some of the TV shows are inappropriate and don’t need to be shown. Some people like how shows use to be before all the sex, drugs, and alcohol.
I do think the government should regulate SOME television shows that broadcast before 10pm. Some shows that are broadcast’ before 10pm have a lot of adult content, and I do not feel comfortable letting my 11-year-old brother watch them. I do not think the government is doing a good job regulating cursing, nudity, and sex on TV. I also do not think the government should allow more racy content to be broadcast’ on TV.
I think that the majority of television shows have become more and more consumed with teenagers, or adults, having sex, drinking, parties, profanity, nudity, etc. and it would be in their best interest to regulate it. Parents do have control over what their children may or may not see, but you cannot prevent what you run across when you’re flipping through stations. Even commercials about sex or certain medicines for men have become blunter over the past year. Sometimes I open my internet tab at home and the little side articles have “sex tips” or details right on their home page! Television, internet, billboards, magazines, etc. all need to have a major set back because they are open to all eyes and ears.
I think that they are doing a good job about regulating things on TV. I think that parents should put restrictions in their TV, then they wouldn't have this problem. I think they should not allow as much "Racy" content on TV because it sets a bad example to a lot of people.
I think the government should regulate television shows because kids don't need to see some of the things showed on television. I think the government is doing an okay job, regulating television, but they could be doing better.
i thank that the government should regulate TV shows. i don't thank that they are doing a good job.it seem that all there is is sex and nudity and drugs on TV now its crazy.I thank that if they want to show that on TV wate till a lot of the kids under the age go yo sleep.
I do believe that they should regulate television shows, because seeing nudity , cursing , and sex is really not good to show to a 8 or younger child. They are not doing good Job at all for letting this go to far.
I believe that the government should regulate tv shows aired on brodcast before 10pm. I don't think that the government is really doing a good job regulating cursing, nudity, and sex on TV. There are still some shows that are more explicit than other television shows. They should not allow more racy content on brodcast TV, because it would be inappropriate for young kids to watch.
I think that the government should regulate the TV shows during that time, because of all the kids that stay up later. As of right now, I haven't really seen anything that should be regulated more than it is. If so then that's the parents job to put parental control on their TV. In reality it's no matter what the government does, it isn't going to change the fact that kids will still stay up even later to watch. Parents should just have more control over what their kids do behind their back.
Keith Bryant:They should regulate certain channels but not all of them. Children do not wanna watch "saving Private Ryan" anyways so why worry about it.
I don't think that they should regulate shows that are aired before 10pm, because most young kids go to bed really early so it would be no need too do it. I think they are doing a really good job regulating TV when kids are most likely too watch. If they called for continued regulation, they should not allow more racy content to be broadcasted on Television.
I think the government shouldn't do anything with Television. We have kids that have already been watching these shows and know about it anyway. There are worse things in the world then regulating T.V. We have Kids in the 6th grade smoking weed and losing their virginity. They even listen to music that promotes smoking, drugs, drinking, and lots of other things that are shown on T.V.
well i feel like they should regulate it because more kids are staying up late and have access to the internet. the government is doing a good job in doing so. but i also think they could do more.
