American Idol judge Steven Tyler found his own musical talents being judged Sunday after he sang the national anthem at the AFC Championship football game in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
What did you think of Steven Tyler's rendition of the national anthem? Does he deserve all the harsh criticism he has received? Can you recall the best and worst renditions of the national anthem you have heard?

A lot of people mess up the national anthem. I don't think he deserves all the harsh criticism because everybody messes up. I can not recall the best or worst renditions of the national anthem.
I did not hear him mess up. I think he did well. I do not think he deserves all the harsh criticism he has received. I have not watched the beginnings of many football games so I have not seen the renditions of the national anthem.
I didn't think it was that good. He doesn't sing music like the national anthem so his voice isn't used to it. I don't think he deserves the criticism he's getting because he's really good at his normal performances. I can not recall the best or the worst I’ve heard.
I thought it was a bit much. It wasn't that bad but it wasn't that good either. I don't really know the best and worst renditions of the anthem.
I think he did pretty good for how old he is. I don't think he deserves all the harsh criticism because he is a rocker and that song doesn't really fit his voice. Christina Aguilera – XLV Superbowl would have to be the worst and I don't really remember the best.
i think its pretty funny. but i don't think he deserves all the harsh comments. i cant recall the the worst renditions.
I didn’t like Steven Tyler’s rendition of the National Anthem. I think it is hypocritical for him to be an American Idol judge and tell people whether they can sing or not and he sounds terrible himself. I don’t know that he deserves all of the harsh criticism, but he does deserve for someone to tell him that he wasn’t that great. Even though that’s the kind of singer he is, he should’ve realized you can’t “rock out” to everything. I think the worst mess up of the National Anthem I’ve ever seen was when Christina Aguilera messed up the words at the Super Bowl.
Steven Tyler’s rendition of the national anthem fit the way he sings so he put his own flavor in it. No he dose not need all of that harassment. Who was it that forgot the words to the song? That was the worst.
I doesn't sound like he messed up to me. He just sang like he would any song. He does not deserve any criticism I can not remember a really good one or bad one.
I think he did pretty good for the way he sings and for a 60 year old man. I don't think he deserves the harsh credit because he added his own style to the national anthem. Christina Aguileia messed up the words to the national anthem when she sang it.
I think he did good. So what he messed up a little, every one makes mistakes, its part of life. He don't deserve the harsh and criticism that he's gotten so far. You can't even hardly tell that he messed up. I can't recall any good or bad renditions of the national anthem.
He wassn't that very good when he sang the national anthem. The national anthem is a hard song to sing because it has many high notes. He shouldn't hsve desrerved all of the criticism because everyone makes mistakes. He did a little too much to sing the national anthem. The worst redition I heard of the national anthem was Christina Aguilera.
-I think he did pretty good , I don't think he should had deserve any of the harsh criticism at all , he is a rocker so of course the song isn't gone sound so wonderful at all. I think when Christina Aguilera - XLV Superbowl was the worst.
I think that it was okay until he rocked out the last portion of the song. I didn't hear about any of the criticism he recieved, but I don't think he deserved it. The best rendition was the actress that song at the Giants v.49ers game. I really never heard a bad rendition before.
I thought that his version of the National Anthem, sounded good. I really don't think he deserves all the harsh criticism he's getting. The worst was Christina and the best was Beyonce'.
I think it's kind of rude for people to judge someone singing in front of a crowd that big; it takes a lot of guts to do something like that. He wasn't that bad. I don't remember who sung a lot of the national anthems, but I do know that a lot of people have messed up.
