Do you believe her "monkey story" or are you cynical? Explain. Is it possible to tell a fabricated story so many times that you eventually believe it to be true? Do you think you would be as resilient as this woman if given her circumstances?

I don't really buy her story but I guess it's possible. People believe false stories all the time. If you are mentally ill you can believe weird things. Even if I was raised by monkeys I probably wouldn't tell the public. I am not interested in everyone knowing everything about me.

I don;t really believe her story, she would act differently. People are really gullible so of course some would believe it, they're stupid. I think I could resilient telling fake stories over and over.

I don't really think she is telling the truth. People tell lies all the time. Some people are dumb enough to believe their own lies. I think I would be resilient.

I believe her story. If she was abandoned at a young age, it is almost impossible for a young child to survive on their own. So, it makes since that she was raised by monkeys. It is possible to tell a fabricated story so many times that you eventually believe what you are saying. I don't know if I would be as resilient as this woman with the same circumstances.

I don't think it's legitimate. She's probably just trying to attract attention. It is possible to tell a story so many times you believe it's true. I would probably just go nap if I were in her circumstances.

I believe her story, I don't think that she is strange or weird for saying she was raised by monkeys. Yes, it is possible to tell a story some many times that you believe that it really when it didn't happen. I think I could resilient stories by saying them over and over.

I believe anything anybody tells me. I think her story could be true because she even climbed the tree and stuff like the monkeys do. Many people tell lies so many times that you never know when the person is joking or for real. If I was raised by monkeys, I would want to tell everybody and tell them how the experience went. I would never be able to make it living with monkeys. I need/want way to much stuff.

I don't really know whether to believe her story or not. It doesn't seem possible to me that a human could be raised by monkeys. The fact that she was climbing a tree in her 60's does support the fact that she lived with monkeys though. If I was her, I'm not sure I'd go around telling people I was raised by monkeys because most people will not believe her.

This woman does seem a little out of it to me. However, her story very easily could be true. As humans are only a couple chromosomes different from monkeys, they would be able to properly care for her and view her as one of their own. It is very possible to tell a lie so many times that someone eventually begins to think its the real truth. People do it all the time - habitual liars.

At first I didn't believe her story, but after listening to the whole story I believe her. I don't know how else she would have survived if she was abandoned at a young age. It definitely is possible to tell a story so many times that the person starts to believe it's true. It happens everyday in high school; some people feel the need to impress everyone so they come up with an elaborate story to impress their peers. I probably wouldn't be as resilient as this women if I was in her position. Being able to spring right back into society after living in the wild for so long takes a whole lot of skill.

I really don't believe her story, mainly because if she was raised by monkeys she would act like one. Anybody can climb a tree. People actually do start to believe something after awhile. So I can't blame her. I probably wouldn't be as resilient if I were in her shoes.

I do not believe her story. I feel if this women was really raised by monkeys then she would act differently. However, it does amaze me that this women in her sixties and can climb trees. It is possible to tell a fabricated story so many times that you think it is true, and this is what I think this women has done. This women probably told her story so many times and now believes that it really happened.

It is not my place to say that the women did not grow up with monkeys. On the other hand, the "monkey story" is very bizarre. I was completely shocked when I saw her scaling up the tree the same way monkeys do. I find it fascinating that in the past monkeys are known for taking abandoned children under their wings. The woman's daughters told a reporter that their mother was grateful every morning for simple things in life such as a house and feet. If I was given the same circumstances as the women, I would be feel the same way.

I don't really know if I should believe her story or not. But the fact that she can climb a tree in her mid 60s makes you wonder. If one tells so many lies, it is possible that they actually start to believe them. I could be resilient by telling fake stories.

What in the world? How can a story like this be absolutely true? I'm not sure what to believe. It is a logical fallacy that if a woman at 60 can climb a tree, then she must have had some experience living with monkeys. She just might be very healthy and fit and a good climber. This story sounds like those stories people tell of their experience from being abducted by aliens.

I think she is lieing. I think this story is fake.Because if she lived with monkeys would be like Tarzan or something.

I don't believe her. She is lying to get attention. I think it is possible to tell a lie so long that after a while you'll start believing it.

I think this is unbelievable to me. Some parts don't make sense to me in anyway. I know you can tell a lie so much and you will start believing it yourself. No not really.

I don't know if I believe her story. I guess it could be possible. Its odd a women her age could climb a tree like she did. There are some aspects that show she could have been raised by monkeys. She was four when they said she was found by monkeys. it could have been just her imagination or parts of it be true and others not. We don't know all the facts in the story, so only she knows if it was true or not.

I don't know if I could believe her. I guess it is true. I don't know her circumstances.

I can't decide whether I believe her story or not. There is really no way to actually tell if it's true. I'm sure it's true in her mind, but that doesn't mean that it really happened. Yet, it is very possible that her story is true. I mean, we all saw her climb those trees which is probably very hard to do.

she be lien. i dont even think dat jank is true. she kinda act like a monkey doe. she dont got no table manners. she prolly did live wid dem monkeys.

Holly Watson said...

I believe her story. It's possible for a child to live animals. It reminds me of Tarzan. I do believe you repeat a story so many times that it feels true. The details become greater and it feels more and more real.

Abby Haring said...

I believe it may have happened but I'm not quite sure either. I think the more you tell a story it does come true such as Santa Clause. Little kids still believe in him. I don't think I would be because in my heart I would know what had really happened.

Kelsey Taylor said...

I don't believe this. If she was really raised by monkeys she would be acting like one. I think she is lying. I have heard of a disease that some people have where they tell a story so many times and they eventually believe it themselves. Maybe she has this.

Im not sure if i believe her or not.It could be true, but its very hard to believe. If i was given her circumstances i would not be as resilient as she is.

Jordan said...

I cant make up my mind on whether its true or fake. It is possible to keep telling a story over and over and you yourself believe the lie. A lot of people do it.

Hunter Dixon said...

I do not belive her story.Yes she could have fabricated this story and now she believes it. I do not think i would be as resilent as her.

Breanna said...

I'm not sure whether or not I believe her story. I do believe that you can tell a story so many times that you can convince yourself that it is really true. I think it is kind of crazy but after watching her climb all around the trees in her 60s she might have had some encounter with monkeys.
