I don't see what is wrong with this, he's just trying to get some ladies. It's not like he was trying to get with high school students or his players. He was just getting some help. I would hook my coach up a hot date if he asked.
That is funny. He is only using the resources at his disposal. They were wrong because that is not right. I wouldn't have a problem because you could always blackmail him later.
When I was watching the video, I was shocked. The man was clearly a creeper, and he was lazy. His actions were way wrong. Nobody should make dating and love a game. If my coach told me to go find her a date, I'd flip out and tell him he needs to leave. That stuff is rude, stupid, and shows just how not personal he is.
I think it's pretty creepy that he had his team find him a date. If he can't get a girl on his own, then he has problems. The girls on his team probably should have thought that something was weird about that scavenger hunt. The coach's actions were wrong by trying to use his team to find a girl. I would have a problem with my coach trying to find dates through their team.

It is rather inappropriate of the coach to ask his players to find him dates. Right off it shows how cowardly he is. If my coach asked me to find him dates, I'd pick the ones he wouldn't like, in hopes that he knows what he's doing is messed up.
Troy Hennum needs to man up and grow his own wings. It is sad that a grown man has to look to his players to find him a date. The girls should have thought that the scavenger hunt was odd. I would have a problem if my coach used me to find possible dates. It would not be my place to do so.
I don't really see anything wrong with this. For him to send out his players to find him a girl is pretty smart to tell you the truth. How the coach came on to the girl wasn't right though. Texting her so much and sending her a lot of pictures isn't so smart. Not really, if he asked I would be pretty cool with that I guess.
I wouldn't find this creepy if he was one of those coaches who were close with his team, but he had only been there for six days. I play travel softball and during some out of town tournaments my team has tried to find girls for our coach; however, it was all in good fun. The coach definitely over stepped his boundaries. He should have been hitting ground balls and doing hitting drills to open up the season rather than having them play cupid.

My thoughts on all this are if the softball girls didn't mind doing this then it really shouldn't be blown out of proportion. We also don't know if he was 'forcing" these girls to do that. I think his actions were pathetic and in a way wrong but its just as much his fault as it is the girls.
