Baby Mama

Read this article before answering the questions below.

For $5,000, would you let the internet name your baby?  Why or why not?  If not, is there an amount of money you would accept?  Do you think this mother is crazy for leaving her child's name up to the public?  Should a name have deeper meaning?

Knowing the internet the name of the baby would be either perverted or something to do with cats. I would let the internet name my baby for $5,000 because name changes don't cost that much. That's free money, you'd be crazy not to take it. Plus it'd be pretty funny to see some of the names.

I would never let the internet name my child! I made the baby, I shall name it! It would take at a bare minimum $50,000 to have me let the public name my child! I personally think the mother is not right for leaving her child's name up to the public! A name should be deep. A name should mean something to the mother.

I don't think she's crazy for letting the internet name her child. People search the internet and name their children some of the most common names, so why not allow the public to name their child. However, there is a line that needs to be drawn by the mother. A name can completely effect a person's whole life. It can cause a child to be mocked and ridiculed throughout their whole life.

A name should be worth more sentimentally than $5,000 monetarily. I would not, for even $5,000, let the internet name my baby. That would be my decision. Having it potentially named "hashtag" or someone's favorite color is ridiculously.... ridiculous! I don't even want kids, so this really wouldn't matter. But if i were to have a child, I would be the one to name it. If it was a girl I would name it some thing like "Erin Mae...". That's a respectable name compared to a name the Internet were to pick out for my baby; for one, because that name actually sentimentally means something to me. A child's name should mean more. My first name is from my great grandmother, and my middle is from one of my great aunts. The name had meaning to my parents.

The internet can't be trusted to come up with a name that isn't completely immature. Unless you want a baby named after every cartoon villain from the last 10 years. Your baby will never live it down no matter how awesome baby Megatron is and you should name it yourself. For enough money I would name the baby anything they wanted and then just change it back and keep the money.

I wouldn't let the internet name by baby just because my kid would have that name for the rest of their life and I wouldn't want my kid to have a ugly name. If I got a million dollars I would let anyone name my kid, but this mother is insane for leaving it up to the public for her kids name.

Even for $5,000 I wouldn't want the internet to name my baby. I think a baby's name should be deeper and have some thought put into it. I don't know if there is an amount of money that I would accept. I think this whole contest idea is insensitive to the baby. This mother is crazy for leaving her child's name up to the public.

For $5,000 I wouldn't let the internet name my child. For the internet to name my child is just weird and doesn't seem right. If they were to pay maybe $25,000 to $50,000 then maybe I would. I do think that this women is crazy for doing this. Being named by parents means everything. It stands for who you are and how you will make your name standout.

I would never let the Internet name my baby. However, I would look up names on the Internet but that is different. A name should have a deeper meaning. Mine Gerald Andrew, comes from my granddad (Gerald) and dad (Andrew). I can see where the mother is coming from if she was in need of money or in a situation where money was tight.

I would NEVER let the internet name my baby. It's my baby, so I should name it. Besides, I already have names for my future kids, and I'm sticking to them. There is no amount of money I would accept. This woman is crazy for letting the public naming her baby, what with all of the perverted minds of people these days. It doesn't matter if a name has a deeper meaning.

I would never let the internet name my child even for $5,000. I would want to name my own child, not the internet. I want my child's name to actually mean something. It is crazy to think that a mother would just let the internet choose her baby's name. The name should absolutely have a deeper meaning than just a name off the internet.

Hey Darion, what would you name your kids???

I clearly don't understand the logic of some people. Natasha Lloyd is crazy for creating the name contest to name her "baby." Lloyd is grabbing at strings for attention. I would not even consider letting the public name my child. I can't imagine creating a contest to name my baby.

I would not let the internet name my baby. To me the name of a baby should be special and have a meaning .Plus the internet name might be a wild and crazy name, and once the baby get older it's going to want to change there name. There is no amount of money that would make me give the baby a public name. The public shouldn't be able to name your baby anyway it should be special.

I, personally, would not let the Internet name my baby. A baby's name should mean something special to the parents, not just what people on the Internet think. I would not accept any amount of money for someone else to name my child. If the mother was struggling financially, I could understand why she would let the Internet name her baby. A name should mean something special to the family, it is something that the baby will have to live with their whole life.

I would never let the Internet name my baby. I will go online and look up names and spelling. My baby and their name is worth way more than $5000. I feel like the name of a child should come from the heart and mean something special. My husband and I will pick the name together and it will be a name in the family.

I would never let the internet name my baby! I don't care how much they offer. I made the baby, it's like a mini-me so I want to name it not some random people. No money in the Earth would want me to even think about someone else naming my child. Yes, she is crazy because like wouldn't YOU to name YOUR OWN child? In my opinion your name should have a meaning.

For $5,000 I wouldn't let the internet name my kid, although I do know someone who named their kid after a mutual gaming friends name tag: Reptar Raptor Jesus. The kid's name would probably be something stupid, like lolcat or slendy. I would have to have a sum of money close to or matching the sum demanded by Dr. Evil in Austin Powers: Goldmember. And seeing as this was a hoax, I don't think she's really crazy, the idea is though. A name is just a name, it's the feelings that you make people feel when they hear your name, that matters.

I would take the $5,000 and not let the internet name my baby. I do think the mother is a lil crazy for doing that. Names should have some deeper meaning.

A child's name should be from the parent. I would love to let the internet name my baby and give me 5, 000 dollars, but I know that I wouldn't really do it. The names on the internet would be stupid because the people coming up with them don't have to live with the name that they come up with. I don't think that your name should mean that much because then it would become it would turn into some name that is hard to say or it would be foreign. Names should be simple, but something the parents like.

I would not let the internet name my baby for any amount of money. I wanna name my children the names that i choose. I would except no money because I'm not gonna let them name my child. I think that this mother made her own decision, i am not gonna judge her. A child's name should have a deeper meaning than just a word.

I wouldn't let nobody name my baby but me and the father. No amount of money would get me to let strangers name my child. Yes she is! The child name should have sentimental meaning.

I would never let the internet name my baby a baby's name is a special thing. I would except no money it is suppose to be a experience that you will never forget not some contest. I think she is crazy not only for leaving it up to the public but because she lied about the whole thing.

To me, naming your baby is personal decision and isn't one for the whole world to make. I would never let the Internet name it for me. A name should mean something to you, it shouldn't be just random. $5,000 isn't nearly enough to have people name my child for me.

I would never let the internet name my child. It is my child and I would want to name it. I don't care how much you offer me I am going to name my own baby. They would probably come up with something stupid. In my opinion a baby's name should have meaning. How would you feel knowing that you didn't name your child, I know I would feel horrible.

I would let the internet name my baby but only if I could change it. I wouldn't let the internet name my baby if there was a rule that I couldn't change it. But you would be stupid not to take the money if you could.

for five grand, I'd let the internet name me. So quite naturally, I would definitely let the internet name my baby. As long as it ain't something like "Bon-Qui-Qui." $5,000 is a lot of money, i could buy a lot of hunting dogs with that. I love money.

For 5,000 dollars, id definatley let the internet name my baby. That would give my child the chance to have a unique name that not many other people have, since the WORLD WIDE WEB would be picking it.

I wouldnt let the internet name my baby for $5,000 thats too cheap! I'd maybe let the internet name my baby for a $1,000,000 only if it's not going to be a dumb name like Obamanisha or Daphadil. No, I dont think shes crazy, its her childs name. If its a stupid name she could give it a nick name or change it. People nowadays name there kid dumb names everyday whats one more.

I would let the internet name my baby. The $5,000 can go towards diapers. No the mother is not crazy. It doesn't really matter what the child's name is, you can always change it.
