What do you think of the tracking devices the students in Texas are being forced to wear? Is it not that big of a deal, or do you think it's an invasion of privacy? Why? Would you wear one at WHS?

I think that you should be aloud to put a tracking device on the students. I think it is an invasion of our privacy. I would not wear a tracking device.

I thought it was everywhere not just in school. But in school its fine. Kids skip class a lot so it's used for that. I don't know actually, why would they do that?

Thats all kind of messed up. Like the beginning of the galactic empire messed up. Its like kids are becoming more like drones instead of free thinkers. This is like a huge invasion of privacy, like what if they didnt tell them they can track you anywhere... If we had to wear them here id tie it to a rat and let it loose in the air ducts. Track that.

I really don't get this. I mean I can understand that they want to keep of the students. But they should just have a better attendance record. Yes it's an invasion of privacy I don't think they need to know if your in the bathroom. No I wouldn't wear one at WHS.

I think the tracking device is a invasion of privacy. Its not really a big deal cause its still a option to wear one or not. Yes its invasion of privacy. I would not wear it.

I think it is the worst idea ever. Kids would think of ways to destroy it or leave it somewhere. I think its just like have a strict parent at school. I think its a huge deal and I wouldn't wear it. I think it is a huge invasion of privacy, because what if they are tracking some kids at home? I would not wear one at school and if I had to, I would refuse.

Well, I don't think it is really an invasion of privacy. There are many advantages to having the students wear tracking devices, like counting for attendance and locating a student if they attempt to skip a class. I don't really think it is that big of a deal, but some students would make a big deal about it because they think it would be an invasion of their privacy. I think it is a somewhat good idea. I know a handful of students here that would probably refuse to wear a tracking device.

I think having a tracking device is good and bad at the same time. The good reason is, like if someone wants to skip class, they won't have anywhere to hide so having a tracking device would let them know where every student is. The bad thing about it is lack of privacy. Most teens don't wants someone to know where they are during the whole school day. I know I wouldn't. They can't make everyone wear one if they don't want to.

I think being forced to wear a tracking device while your in the school building is ridiculous. In some ways I would consider it an invasion of privacy. Teachers usually always know if a student is present in their class or absent. Besides the short amount of time we have when switching classes, we really don't have extra time to be doing other stuff here at Windsor High so in my opinion I don't see the need for one. But overall I think it is really unnecessary, It's not like we should have to be tracked during school hours, were not criminals.

I think these tracking devices are a waste of money and stupid. It will probably help the administrators keep track of where the students are going and make sure they're not doing anything wrong. If WHS got these I would not wear them.
