In your opinion, should the cheerleaders be allowed to make Bible verse banners? Why or why not? If one person is offended by a banner and the majority approves, who, if anyone, should waiver their opinion and why?

I think they should be allowed to make banners that say whatever they want. Its just a banner, its something the football players ruin right after.

I believe cheerleaders should be able to make those Bible verse banners. With the 1st amendment we are given the rights "freedom of religion, speech, assemble, petition, and press. Those rights can not be taken away, by making those banners, it shows their faith and encourages them. People have the right to their own belief and just because one may be against doesn't mean you can take that away. I encourage the cheerleaders to continue spreading God's message and build in their faith.

I honestly dont see a problem with what they are doing. They arent forcing it on anyone, just showing support in a way. I think who ever disapproves should voice there opinion in a way thats understandable. But always remember where you are, because the overall religeous groups might be too much in control.

Yes I think the cheerleaders should be able to do this, its harmless really and there just trying to be inspirational to there team. They should waive there opinion because the banners are not for one person who doesn't believe in god if they don't that's there choice but if the team has no problem with it then they should be allowed to. considering the banner is for them.\

I think its stupid to make a conflict over Bible verse banners. The girls should be allowed to make Bible verses.

I think the cheerleaders should be allowed to make Bible verse banners. It is freedom of speech and this is one way Christians spread their beliefs and it helps give strength to the football players and the school. If one person is offended by a banner that portrays Biblical references then I don't think they should stop using this method of creating banners. People in the world all have opinions, and they all have the right to speak their opinion. But just because someone doesn't like the fact that others are publicly showing their beliefs doesn't mean they should stop. They will have to eventually deal with it in the real world.

In my opinion I would support the cheerleaders 100%. I think they should be allowed to make Bible verse banners. I find some bible verses to be inspirational and motivating. I think that instead of complaining some should be happy that they have high schooler's that believe in Jesus and put positive messages on banners. Its freedom of speech and religion and I think its a great way to boost school spirit with a touch of Christianity. Regardless if it's a public school or if you believe in God, at least their holding up a positive message.

In my opinion I think that the cheerleaders should be allowed to write bible verses on the banners because there are more people in this world that believe in God than people who dont. The people who are offended by the banners should not come to any of the games if it bothers them so much, at least the kids arent putting hateful things on the banner about the other team.
