In your opinion, should the student have been suspended? Give a good explanation for your stance. Do you think a student with caffeine pills would be suspended at Windsor High School?

If it wosen't about a caffeine pill but like a painkiller then yes they should be suspended. Some drugs are dangerous in children use. It depends on how the caffeine pills are used in this school.

They should not have been suspended. I don't really think they had to be suspended for energy mints. If someone bought caffenine pills to Windsor they probably would get suspended. Only because there aren't suppose to be any kind pills in the school unless the nurse has them in her office.

I think the student shouldn't be suspended. The kids were just trying to make a caffine mint instead of drinking an energy drink. It seems a lot safer to me. I don't think anyone would be suspended here because I don't think the teachers would even find out.

In my opinion I don't think that the boys should be suspended. I do understand that they are pills and that they shouldn't be on school grounds. However whats the big difference between a student who brings a energy drink to school with their lunch and a student who just brings energy mints and eats them at lunch?. I feel like they should cut them a little break. It's not like the pills were illegal narcotics they were just energy mints. If a student here at Windsor High got caught with energy mints I don't know if they would suspend them or not. I see kids all the time here at Windsor walk around with energy drinks, but I have a feeling that if a child here got caught with them then they would suspend them anyway because it's in pill form perhaps.

The students should not have been suspended over something stupid. And if it was like something really dangerous like acid or lsd. If they knew what they were taking and since they wouldnt, i dont know, stroke out or have a heart attack. And if there fine and the issues are resolved they should not be in trouble. far worse things are out there.

I don't think the students should have been suspended because they allow energy drinks and coffee for the students and it is not against the school code at their school. The only reason they got suspended was because the mints didn't have a label on the package to prove that they were only energy mints and not an illegal substance. But I also think, for certain students, it would be easy to overdose on these pills and it may affect the child's behavior. The school would be held responsible if the child has an allergic reaction to the pill. I do believe a student at Windsor High School would probably be suspended for having caffeine pills because they don't even allow the children to have energy drinks in the building, much less any pills or medicines.
I dont think that the kids should of got suspended. Its just a caffine pill. If the school allows energy drinks then the caffine pill should be allowed. I think if I got caught with a caffine pill, windsor would defintily suspend me for possesion of a drug.
