What did you think of the video? Do you think there's a double standard between the way bullying is handled/tolerated amongst teenagers versus the way it's handled/tolerated amongst adults? Do you think teachers at WHS handle bullying the way they should? Is there a difference between intervening and bringing justice to a situation? Which do you see more of? Have you had an experience with bullying?

I think bullying is a state of mind. You choose to be pushed around than stand up for yourself. I don't bullying is funny or cool in anyway, but why sit there and take it? I don't see any bullying in WHS. But there is most likely some anyway. - Dion
This video was not right. Yes there is a double standard between the way bullying is handled. The teachers here at WIndsor probably wouldn't even break up a fight, so no they probably wouldn't handle it the correct way. Yes there is a difference, everything should be brought to justice. I see a lot of stuff being brought to justice. No I have never had an experience with bullying, I never will either. - Jarvis
I think its a very accurate description of what actually happens in a bullying situation. I have not witnessed any actual bullying or acts to solve it so i cant give an accurate response on if its being taken care of. But in my old school bullying was constant and teachers did not do a gosh darn thing about it. Intervening is something i have not seen, but there is a huge difference between that and bringing justice. Sometimes the intervention is better than what the justice is. And i know all too well what bullying is like, since middle school and not too much in high school.
I thought this video was very mean and hurtfull, but when it comes to bullying people need to stand up for themselves. All it takes is one time to do something back to the person bullying you and they will never mess with you again. Im sure that there is no adult on earth that would not have fought back with that guy. I think that teachers handle bullying very well at WHS because I never see anyone being bullied.
When I saw this video I felt bad for the adult who was getting bullied. The adult bullier was very immature. I think teenagers can't handle being bullied as much as adults can. Here at Windsor High I think the teachers handle bullying situations very well. We even have a Anti-Bullying Comity starting soon. I haven't experienced a lot of bullying myself, but I think I see an equal amount of intervening and bringing justice in bullying situations. -Dixie
This video is sad. I think adults try to handle bullying between children the best way they can. They try to prevent fights by asking students to write incident reports so the adults can handle it in school. I think the safest way to handle bullying in school is to let the adults handle it. But at the same time, I feel like we should be able to settle some problems ourselves.
It's really messed up to know people do this. It is handled differently between teens and adults. I guess the teachers handle it the right way here, but we don't really have a lot of that in the school, most of us stand up for ourselves. I see more intervening then anything else. Yeah I did honestly by my best friend who that it was funny to always joke around with me and says things that were rude. But I actually thank her because if she hadn't of done it i might not be the person I am today. -Kirsten
