Have you ever felt like you needed an "academic steroid?" Have you ever heard of students taking a drug, such as Adderall, that wasn't their prescription for what seemed like a noble or good intention? Do you think Stefan deserved arrest and expulsion from school for what he did? Why or why not?

I'm prescribed adderall and it does help me a lot in school. i do have adhd and that's why i take it. I also don't take them like there candy. Taking one of a high mg can be dangerous. I've seen someone overdose on taking to many at once. But he should of been arrested,it is illegal to sell them. He should of been more careful.

I have never felt like I needed one but I have taken them. I know a lot of people that take Adderall or other ADD drugs in school and give them to people who don't need them. I don't think he deserved to be arrested but things happen.

Yeah, sometimes I feel like that. I have heard of students taking it. I mean I've taking it to because it keeps you focused. No he defintley shouldn't have been expelled much less arrested. There was no reason to its taking for a reason and no bad intention.

I definately need need aderal, im am at a loss at academics. I have definately know kids who have taken it for this purpose. Some of them were perscribed, but a couple few were kinda bad news. I dont think that stephan shouldve been arrested. He took a controlled substance and was helping his friends. Even though it was illegal, its not like its weed or anything.

Sometimes when I'm studying at home, I can't seem to focus. I've never thought about using an "acedemic steroid". I've never heard of students taking this drug for performing better in school even if they didn't have ADD. I don't really think he should be arrested because it is sold over the counter. It shouldn't be sold over the counter if this drug is mainly to help ADHD people.
I personally take the medication because I have A.d.d , and in my opinion it is a good boost to get you concentrated on your work. I think it is very helpfully but that is in my opinion because I have a hard time staying focused. However I don't think students who take medication that isn't prescribed to them is safe. If the doctor hasn't diagnosed them with anything then they shouldn't be taking a medication for it. Regardless if it helps them academically.
