Did you find this clip from the movie "Facing the Giants" motivational? Describe a time when someone pushed you to achieve more than you thought possible. What goals have you set for yourself this semester?
I found the clip very motivational. My parents motivated me to do good in school and not fail any classes, and I ended up getting A's and B's. My goals for this semester is to get honor roll or even straight A's.
I didn’t find this video motivational. Mostly because I know it’s fake. Even in real life, however, I would still just find it to be lame. I’m not saying I can’t be motivated, but seeing a guy crawl across a field with another guy on his back just makes me laugh. I don’t think anyone has ever done anything special to motivate me, other telling me, “You can do better.” That doesn’t mean I’m an unmotivated person though, because my goal for this semester is to have straight A’s. To describe a time when i was motivated would be when I was at work, and in order for me to leave i hade to clean off nasty tables. I was so mad and i wanted to give up because it was so many dirty tables. At the end i achieved it and i felt good about it. My goals for this semester is to just pass all my classes. I say that because i wan't to become a senior next year, and in order for me to do that i have to stay motivated, and keep my head up, and don't give up. JALISSA CHAMBLISS
This clip was very motivational; it inspires to achieve your best even if you think you can’t. I myself have never been motivated by a single person in my eighteen years of life, unless you count the motivation I give myself. Every single morning and every single night I have to motivate myself, I have to motivate myself to keep pushing forward; I have to dare myself to achieve what is not in my reach. I struggle everyday to keep going forward, but everyday I convince myself to keep putting one foot in front of the other until I reach my desires and get a taste of victory, that at times I believe I do not deserve. I have to motivate myself to overcome, to achieve, and to dare; I have to motivate myself to overcome myself and my Unipolar Depressive Disorder.
I thought this clip was very motivational. When I played basketball there was a time when the coach was pushing me to run harder and play mean, so I listened to her and stole the ball a bunch of times and stopped the other team from shooting. That was the best game I had ever played. The goals I haev set for this sesmester are to make honor roll and finally GRADUATE!!! :)
I this clip from the movie "Facing the Gaints" was very moviating. I remember the time when I was motivated to do something. It was when I was on the basketball team. My coach would always motivate me to score in the double digits. She always did that because she says that I am very good and she believed that I could go somewhere. For this semester my goals are to pass all my classes and do my best. I don't want to just do enough to get by but cause I really want too.

I found this video motivational because the boy didn't think he could go that far.
