I think it was messed up that they took her crown because she gained a little weight. I think the original pageant should still be Miss Texas. I think people take beauty pageants way too seriously, and I don't think they should make a big deal about it.
That is absolutely ridiculous about the decision to dethrone her. Why should anyone care if someone has a little chub on them? I think a little chub looks good on a girl. These pageants are very degrading to all women, participants or not. They make women compete to be the best looking, talented, thoughtful, and skinniest. Why can’t someone who is a little chubby be a beauty queen? In the words of Rodney Carrington “I like my women like I like my chicken with a little bit of fat on the ends; not too much and not too little, just enough to make me grin”.

I think “Beauty Pageants” are useless wastes of human energy. There is too much war, murder, hatred, genocide, and so many other problems, to be worrying about some stupid little prissy *bad word* who didn’t win some stupidly pointless competition. I have a very strong stance against these kinds of things, and it just irritates every single fiber of my being to see things like this. This is the world we live in today. A world more focused on “beauty” and fake “talent” rather than the real and worrisome events that goon around us. We are either blind to reality, or refuse to accept it. The only problem is that if someone’s holding again to your head, pretending that he isn’t real won’t make him go away. WAKE UP WORLD!!!!

My reaction to this video was that the whole thing is just crazy. I believe that they should let the other girl do it because the taco beauty queen did admit that she did not attend to the meetings like she should have and she was always late. So I believe that the more responsible one should be the queen. I feel that a pageants are degrading because there always with skinny girls and there always looking revealing and it can make other women think they are not beautiful.

I think that pageants are unnecessary. I say that because it can be less of a headache. Some people is very serious things like this, i don't see the reason why. If i ever enter in a pageant i would be so care free. I think i would because i don't like it, and i don't care.
My reaction to the video is that if they dethroned her bacause she had gained weigth was really stupid. To me I really don't care who represent it because its just not caused for. Well, I agree with other people it is degrading to women.
