Has teenage pregnancy become more or less of an issue in WHS? Do you think there is still a social stigma on teenage moms? Why or why not? Why do you think teenage pregnancy is on the rise in our nation?

I think teenage pregnancy is a lot higher then it use to be. People just don’t view sex like they used to. They also don’t prepare themselves for the consequences because they don’t think it’s going to happen to them. I think that there is some social stigma on teenage moms but not as much as there used to be. I’m just sad for the babies because not all teens have parents or people that they can rely on to help them with their baby and that’s going to eventually make the child’s life much harder.
I do not think that teenage pregnancy is a major problem in WHS. However, pregnancy among just a few of the students here is still a problem. I do believe that there is a social stigma with parents to kids but, I do not believe that students act the same way towards other student about pregnancy. I do not believe that it is healthy for students to become pregnant whilst they are still in school.
I don't think that pregnancy is an issue at WHS. I think it is a stigma on teenage moms. Many people think that since you are a teenager you can't be a good mother. I don't think that that's the case. However, I think many people are beginning to realize that it's not right to judge that mother until you know how she really is. Yes teenage pregnancy is on the rise.
I think that teen pregnancy is less of an issue at WHS. I think there is a social stigma on teenage moms. The reason is that because they are so young, some people think that they can't take care of a child. They can't balance having a child and still being in school at the same time. I think that its on the rise because people don't want to use a condom.
Teenage pregnancy has become less of an issue in WHS. Yes, i do think that there is still a social stigma on teenage moms because some teenege moms still have to get an education. I think that teenage pregnancy is on the rise because some teens do not know how to go to a clinic and get checked out.
Teenage pregnancy isn't a real problem at WHS. A minimum amount of girls at our school have babies or are about to. I think there is still a social stigma on teenage moms. But, in today's society they make it seem like its okay. I really have no idea why there is more teenage pregnancy in our nation. It could possibly be due to the fact that sex is in TV shows and also in movies. I still don't understand why teens get pregnant because condoms and birth control is easier to get a hold of.

I think that teen pregnancy is not an issue at WHS. We have had some occurrences but not enough to warrant calling it a problem. There is a social stigma on teenage moms because it is an act that is looked down upon. Teenage pregnancy is on the rise because there is less to do and more time alone. Then again it is an occurrence that is probably going to happen no matter what stipulations are put in place.
Not knowing the number of teen pregnancies before coming to WHS I would have to say that there will always be some girl in a high school that is pregnant. I do not think that it is a problem at Windsor. I definitely do not think that teenage moms are looked down on. If anything I think that they get more attention. Being a teen mom in my opinion isn’t something you would want but I don’t think it is something to be looked differently by. Sometimes it just happens when you take chances. I think it’s on the rise because teenagers are not taking the precaution they should when having sex.
Teenage pregnancy is not really a problem at WHS. There have been some teenage moms at WHS, but it was only one or two at a time. It seems that teenage pregnancy is on the rise in our nation. I don’t know why, it almost seems like it is becoming a new fad. I don’t understand why it seems to be a new fad, it changes your entire life and teenagers should not go through such a change so young. I just don’t understand it.
Teenage pregnancy isn’t really a problem in WHS. There are always one or two unfortunate people who get pregnant but it’s not an epidemic here. I do think there is a social stigma put on teen moms. Some may see is as being glamorous because they watched Teen Mom, but many see teen moms as irresponsible fools. I think teenage pregnancy is on the rise because many are uneducated and pressured. Then there are the stupid pacts which I have no idea why they are created.
Moms should get their teenage girls birth control, problem solved. If mothers payed more attention to their daughters less of them would end up pregnant. Back then, it was more of a social stigma on a teenage mom because sex before marriage was very rare. These days its different and girls need protection, education is needed.
Teenage pregnancy has never been a problem in WHS and I do not think it will be. WHS is a small school that rarley has any problems with anything. I think teenage pregnanvy is not on a rise in our nation. I think babies are at a slump in our nation.
I think teen pregnancy has become a bigger issue at WHS, as well as everywhere else. The social stigma is an issue, I know it would be an issue in my family, and churches also look down upon it. I believe that teenage pregnancy is on the rise because teens either think it's cute or think it will never happen to them, safe sex isn't practiced which is also a reason why more and more people are getting pregnant and STD's as well.

I don't think teen pregnancy is really bad at WHS. I would think that alot of students are going around unprotected though. I do think teen pregnancy is going to rise.
I don't know of anyone at WHS that's pregnant, but I'm sure it happens. Shows like teen moms try to address the issue, but what started out as something to show kids what it's like to be pregnant as a teen turned into a new way to be famous. I can't see why teenage pregnancy is so prevalent in America other than ignorant people not taking responsibility for their actions and use protection.
I think teen pregnancy is less of an issue here.Because most of the younger students do not want to deal with kids.Hence teen pregnancy at our school is not really an issue.Though I do believe it can become an issue here at WHS if the younger students do not realize how their life will change when they have a child to take care of.Yes I do believe there is still a stigma on teen moms.The reason I think there is a stigma on teen moms is everyone makes a fuss over a person who is pregnant.Hence why I think there is a stigma on teen moms.I have no clue why teen pregnancy is on the rise.If I had a answer to the question why teen pregnancy then it would not be a problem.
I think that its become less of an issue. The reason I think that is because you don't see many girls with a baby yet. I think all of this is sad. But that girl need to stay in school because she need some more English lesson. I am glad that I am not like that.
Teen Pregnancy is growing every year. We have already had one pregnancy this year. I don't think that there is no social stigma between mothers. I think kids want to have sex more.
I don't think teenage pregnancy is too big of an issue here at Windsor High School. However, any high school you go to has bound to have someone pregnant there. I think there is still a social stigma on teenage moms. TV and all make it look like its okay to have a baby, because of all these shows like teen mom. I think teenage pregnancy is on the rise because people just don’t look at sex the way they used to. It really doesn’t have a meaning to people anymore. People don't think things through, it's easy to put a condom on and use birth control or just not have sex point blank.

It seems like every year there is a pregnancy at WHS. I think there is a social stigma on teen moms. Girls get so pressured to do things, sometimes. However, most of the time they just want to have a baby; thinking it's cool. Teenage pregnancy is on the rise because they either have nothing better to do or they just want to start a family.
I believe teenage pregnancy has become a bigger issue everywhere. It isn't that bad at WHS, but we still have them. I don't understand why people can't use protection so they don't have a children so early. I think teen pregnancy has risen because people just didn't take precautions or an accident happened. If people would think before they act, I believe they would make better choices.
I think teenage pregnancy isn't to bad of an issue at WHS. There is always going to be some girls that do end up pregnant. I think that it is getting worse though. I think teens have to much free time. If girls want to put there selves in that situation where they could get pregnant, they need to get put on birth control.
I don't think teen pregnancy is a major problem here at WHS. I do know that some girls here have had babies, so it is still an issue. Before a teenage girl gets pregnant, she is view as socialy "cool," but as soon as people find out there is a baby on the way, she is an outkast. Teenage pregnancy is defintiely on the rise. I think that the girls who made a pact to get pregnant need someone to love them. They are so alone with no one to love them, and they think that a baby is the only answer.
Pregnancy has been kind of the same for Windsor High. I do think there is still a social stigma on teenage moms because in this situation, 90 girls did it so it has to be more influences other places. I think teenage pregnancy is on the rise in our nation because of peer pressure and more influences.

I say this because the girls are still in school, trying to get an education and raise a baby at the same time. I think teenage pregnancy is on the rise in our nation because no one is teaching our children the right way or to use protection.
The teenage pregnancy rate has really became more of an issue here. There are people setting bad examples for teen girls. The girls on Teen Mom are basically showing girls that its okay to have kids when its really not. I think someone needs to stand up and talk to these girls and let them know how hard life really is, and them having a baby is not going to make it easier.
