I think that he has some mental issues. However, he obviously had them before the shooting. Someone should’ve stepped in a long time ago to help him. I think one of the school counselors should’ve done something. I understand they might not have been sure about what to do but they should’ve done something instead of waiting until it’s too late to realize he needs serious help.
I think he has some type of mental illness for killing people. He probably let his emotions take over and this was the end result. I do not have any other thoughts regarding Jared Loughner.
My thoughts regarding Jared Loughner are that he needs professional help with his life. If he was rejected from the military they must have had a reason clearly he has a mental problem, and he must have had some problems with the government.

Jared Loughner has some issues. I do not understand why he did this and killed those people. Is it because she didn’t answer his question? Way to hold a grudge. He clearly is a normal person with emotional problems; maybe they got a hold of him. This violent crime shows that anyone is capable of being a shooter. This man is 22 years old he expressed his opinion. What are other young people thinking about now?
Jared Loughner seems to be clinically insane. He has all the symptoms of a Paranoid Skitsofrantic. I believe will all his prior actions ex. (posting weird videos and blogs) that the local cops should have kept a closer eye on him. Some may call that profiling but I call it being careful. His past was really strange and disturbing. I believe he should have gotten help before this happened.
I can see his motive clearly. I see his hatred for the government because of his rejection from the military. He is a college drop out, he posts disturbing videos, and shows signs of mental illness. This guy is just crazy plain and simple.
Wow, he shoots up Arizona for no apparent reason at all. It seems like he has a mental problem with the government. I think he did it because he can't deal with the failure in his life, like when they said he got rejected into the army and things like that.
I can agree with Jared being a person who possibly had some mental issues. That doesn’t really excuse him from shooting all those people. I have a feeling that the reason for him being rejected by the Army is that he seemed mentally unstable; the military will not accept some like that if they suspect it. Really from everything that people said about him, it seems that Jared was a very disturbed person.
I think that Jared Loughner, was mentally ill and depressed. It seems as if he would mad that he had been rejected by the military. As people develop mental illness they tend to hallucinate. I believe this is where he came up with the idea of brain washing by the government.
Jared Loughner seems like an unbalanced person, considering that he strongly believes in so many conspiracies. Yes, it is true that the government definitely has some secrets. However, I do not believe that the government back in the 1800’s. Therefore, I do believe that Jared is mentally unbalanced, which makes his acts of murder unjust.
I think that Jared Loughner is a crazy person. He is obviously disturbed. Something must be wrong with him because he got turned down by the military. Also he was suspended from school. All of these things add up now because Jared had a major break down.
Jared Loughner was crazy. The things he said didn't make sense yet he said that everyone else was crazy. He is obviously mentally imbalanced. He needs serious help. I think anyone who can just up and kill people the way he did is insane and has problems. No matter what anyone supposedly did to him, there was no excuse for his behavior.
Jared Loughner is very crazy! Jared took his aggravation out on the government because he couldn’t be enrolled into the army. Jared was not all their mentally because no one goes into the court room and shoots people up. Jared obviously had a problem with the government and how it works. His past shows that he got suspended for video that obviously offended people. Someone should of dealt with him a long time ago regarding all the offensive things we have done.

I feel sorry about this whole situation. Jared is a young man that has been emotionally disturbed for some time. I do not understand why he did what he did and it is definitely not fair. I believe that he should be punished or given help
I think this guy is crazy. It makes no sense to me why he would do it. I think he needs to go somewhere and get help.
I am tired of hearing this story. That he was not in his right mind. They knew he was not in his right mind and they let him run free. He needs to learn to shoot better.
I dont know what to say I need more information.But I feel the pain of the family's of the people how got shot.
I think the guy who shot the people should receive the death plenty. The man is not all the way there. I feel really sorry for the people who died for no reason. The worst thing was that a nine year old girl was shot by him. She was the granddaughter of a former MLB manager.
I think that the boy is disturbed.There is no good reason to go out and shoot a bunch of people.I mean really if you have problems with your government then talk to your state officials.That is the only way that problems you see in your state can be solved.Killing is not the way to get the attention of your government.It makes no sense to kill people over problems you see in your government.I think he needs mental help.I mean one of the people he killed was a 9 year old girl for God's sake!How can you shoot a gun and not care where your bullets land?The answer is you can not care where your bullets land,you simply do not care for the people they may hit.
He looks a little strange. If he had a bad past then it was likely he would shoot some people. I don't know why people do stuff like this.
I think he has psychologial issues. After being rejected, I believe he took his problems out on others. I'm surprised no one noticed his awkward behavior before the shooting. I just don't understand why he would go shoot people. The sad thing is that he might get off for killing those people.
I think you have to be mentally unstable to do something like this. To shoot people because the Congress Women could not answer a question, to me, is stupid. He shot multiple people for no reason. It’s not fair for him to take his anger out on innocent people. A nine year old girl died just because she was there, she had nothing to do with any of it, but she was killed because of him.
I think that this boy is crazy. There was no reason why he would do that. I do believe that he should got to jail or something. Maybe he just had a mental breakdown and was just tired of it. I am glad that I don't know this person personally!
He seems to have some type of mental issue and should've gotten help a long time ago. This whole situation is messed up. What he did was wrong, how could you kill someone? He should be in jail along with given some help for his issues. If he got turned down by the military you know something must be wrong with him.
Pleading insanity in this case would be legitamate. They decided that he is "mentally unstable" but that doesn't mean he should get off easier than someone that knew what they were doing.
He is a very disterbed young man. He is definitley not well because no one in their right mind would do someting like this. The families of everyone affected are in my prayers. I hope that something good comes from this tradgedy. As far as Jared Loughner's case goes, I hope he doesn't just get let free. I'm not saying he should get executed, but he shouldn't be able to walk the streets again.
I think Jared Loughner is a bad person. What he did was wrong. He could have at least killed Mrs. Gifford instead of hindering her for the rest of her life. I think he's also a loser. If you can't get in the army, you probably can't breathe.
My thoughts regarding Jared Loughner is that he is mentally insane. The information about his past is psychotic. I can't freaking believe he would just go shoot somebody for a pointless reason. He should of went to a mental hospital. Don't worry he will get his.
I think he is insane, I can't believe he shot that poor woman. People like this don't belong in this world. Shooting someone just because you felt like is ridiculous! If he had a very good and legit reason for shooting her than it might be different. Crazy Bastered!
