I'm confused on why a smart kid as described in this video would hold students and a teacher hostage in a classroom to talk, then kill himself. You never know what could happen at WHS but it seems very unlikely. I think he did it because he felt left out in school. I don't think there is a lesson to be learned from this.
I was shocked when I heard about this yesterday. I do not think anything like this would happen at WHS because we are not in a city. I think stress could have been a factor in his tragic. I thnik all we can do is live our lives and move on. There is really nothing to learn about this except to find out how to stop someone from doing something like this.
Anything could happen to any school in the world. It is a very real possibility that this could happen in Windsor High school any day. It’s not something that people think about but, the kids at that high school didn’t expect anything like this either. From this, people could learn maybe to be nice to every one because you never know who the gunman that comes into your school could be.
I don't understand. Most students who would pull a gun on a class are normally outcast or aren't very social, but people said he was nice and quiet but really smart, things just don't add up in my mind as to what happened. I think something like this could happen at any school, it was only a few weeks ago when a student from IWA took out a gun on another student. It scares me that things like this could happen, but there is nothing anyone can do to avoid certain situations.
What happened in Green Bay could happen anywhere. It’s been proven time and time again. Things like this just keep happening because no one cares enough to try to help someone else out until it’s too late. The only reason people say it’s tragic is because the kid shot himself and if they didn’t say it was tragic they would be seen as uncaring and widely disliked by the public. When in reality, people, besides his family (assuming they were in good standing with him), don’t care that he’s dead. They just care about drama and self image. The only time people started caring was when their lives were on the line.
I was stunned when I heard this on the news. It seems to be happening more and more in these trying days. I’d like to believe that this will never happen at WHS. It may or may not, anything is possible. I’m just hoping that if someone is bullied to the point of pulling of a columbine incident that they receive help before they do anything drastic. The 15 year old was probably bullied and picked on for being smart and quiet. This just reinforced the fact that bullying is a terrible act that needs to be taken care of.
My reaction to this video is that you can't take anything for granted anymore. People now a days are more depressed and just want to talk to someone. I think that if you see someone quiet and shunned to the world you should take the initiative to talk to them. This is because you never know what that person is going through. I think that if something like this could happen at Green Bay it could happen anywhere like WHS. I think that the boy was just going through a hard time in his life,needed people to talk to, and just wanted to feel wanted by someone. I think we could all learn from this tragedy by always trying to talk to new people and make sure they are welcomed.

It is very sad. I dont think something like this could happen at WHS. What I think could have caused the 15- year- old boy to do something so tragic is that he was being bothered outside of school or something happened while he was out hunting.There are many lessons I should learn from this tragedy in Green Bay.

That is a pretty scary thought that that actually happened. People always say that the quiet ones are the ones you never expect of being able to do such things. I guess they were right. I think that this almost happened at the middle school when I was in 8th grade. There was this one student in our grade who was suspended for having a hit list of the people in the school. Later the administration was said to have found a knife in the duffle bag that he always carried around. There are so many things that could of set that kid off. He could have been a victim of bulling, and he just got tired of it, or something happened inside of his home. There is really no telling what could have made him do that.
The sad part about this story is that this sort of thing happens too much. There is always a possibility of something like this happening at any school. I hope that our school is in the right position not to have something like this happen. I have not personally experienced anything bad enough to even think about this. I am not sure if there is anything that bad personally, apparently there is.
I was shocked Becuase this could happen to WHS. Anything can happen when you push someone over the edge. He could Have been picked on and it drove him crazy. They could have been harrising him and he just flippped out. One lesson you could learn is to not push people over the edge becuase you dont k now what they are capable of.
I was shocked that the boy killed himself. After what they said about the boy. Though as said no one will ever know why. Something like this could happen anywhere. So yes it could happen at WHS. I do not know what could have set the boy,it could have been any of a number of things. To pin point why the boy decided to do what he did and take his life may never be known. All I can say is that whatever set the boy off must have been something he felt he could trust no one to talk to about. Yes the lesson is that no matter what you do some things just can't be helped. Sometimes you can just never predict what someone may or may not do.
I thought this video was funny. I think this would never happen at Windsor. We don't even have fights. He was probably depressed.I think that we should learn to treat others nicely.
It doesn't surprise me. These days, for some reason, kids feel a need to bring weapons to school in attempts to shoot people. People are pretty mean these days, like the classmate said, all he wanted to do is talk.
I think this video is carzy. I'm sure this kid had alot going on. It is possible that it could happen here. Something could have happened at home or something like so much stress build up. I don't know what is learned.
I believe something like that could happen at WHS. Many people are crazy in this world and sometimes we don’t know who these people are. I would like to know why the kid held the people up. He probably did what he did because there is nothing to do in Green Bay. I feel sorry for his family and wish them the best.
I really think this is so sad. I feel so sorry for the family. I don't know the kid, but I wouldn't want something like that to happen to anyone I know. I think something like this can happen at WHS because you will never know what is going on in someone's mind. I honestly can't tell you what was going on in the boy's mind. I guess he was just ready to give up on life. I hope his family will find comfort.
Something like that could happen anywhere in the world. It's kind of shocking cause it's always the people you least expect. I'm not to sure what could cause the 15 year old boy to do something so tragic. It is a good thing the teachers and the students remained calm. But it is still very upsetting that he ended up killing himself in the end. Events like this are horrible to experience and have to live with the rest of your life. I feel sorry for the family of the student who had the guns and committed suicide. I also feel sorry for the other students who were at risk. I hope the school still remains steady, and eventually in time I’m sure it'll all calm down.
I thought it was so sad to hear about this. Anything could happen any where you are. I have no idea what cause him to take his own life. My first thought was depression. So many kids go through that right now. I learned that you should help out someone that could possibly put everyone else in danger. You shouldn't do it for yourself or others. You should do it for the troubled student who may want someone to care for them.

This was the craziest thing I've ever heard I don't think something like this could happen at WHS but it's possible. I think what caused the boy to kill himself and hold his classmates hostage was the fact that he probably had some mental issues with the public or something. He probably felt overwhelmed. But I still don't think this was necessary because he was a very smart young man and didn't deserve to have his life ended that way. He had his whole life ahead of him.
It's so sad that this kid thought that he had no other way out but to kill himself. I think that this situation could happen anywhere including WHS. Anything could have pushed him over the edge, but there was definitely something major going on under the surface. We should never take a new day for granted. If something is wrong in your life, you should talk to someone who can help you before you get in so deep that you can't find another way out.
I was somewhat shocked. I think this could happen anywhere around the world. Many kids have issues and they don’t discuss there problems an by then it’s to late! I definitely think this could happen at WHS, because people go through stuff everywhere! This video has showed me don’t to tease people cause I wouldn’t want to be the one that push them to hurt their self or others!
My reaction to this video was when was hurtful. I think low self-esteem and stress could have been the factor. Things like this aren't tragic, its stupid! For people to kill themselves is just silly! I could learn to keep to myself and do my own thing so I can stay ahead of the game.
It's really sad. I hate that people want to take their lives, especially that they bring other people into their problem. I think that it could happen. He could have been depressed or had self esteem issues, or just not wanted to live anymore. Why he chose to do it at school, in his classroom, I don't understand but it is a tragic situation. I hope that they find out why he did it so they can prevent this from happening again.
