Victoria's Secret Fashion Show
Did you tune in to the Victoria's Secret fashion show last night? What are your thoughts about the fashion show? Is it really fashion or is it an excuse to see women in lingerie? State your reasons. Ladies... do you think Victoria's Secret commercials, models, fashion shows, etc. are damaging to young girls' self-esteem? Why or why not? Guys... do you feel uncomfortable walking into a Victoria's Secret store or being in the same room with your mom when a Victoria's Secret commercial comes on? Why or why not?

I did not watch the show last night. I think the fashion is just another show. It is fashion for some and a reason to wear lingerie for others. I don't think that the commercials and models are damaging to young girls; they should be taught to be fine with who they are.
I did not what the Victoria's Secret fashion show. My thought about the fashion is that it gives the ladies something to do and for guys, it gives they something to watch. I think it is really the ladies showing fashion. I do not care if I walk into a Victoria's Secret store or if a commercial comes on tv. I would not care if my mom is in the same room with me.
No, I did not watch the fashion show because unfortunately I was busy. The fashion show was very exquisite and enjoyable. Well, companies have to sell their lingerie so a fashion show would help promote that and why would they need an excuse? See women advertising lingerie isn’t really awkward because it’s a serious ad trying to sell a product.
No I didn't watch the fashion show last night. My thoughts are those girls are so sexy. I think it's an excuse to see women in lingerie. I feel uncomfortable being in the same room with my mom when the commercials come on, because the feeling of my mom watching the same commercial and the thoughts that come to mind make it awkward watching the commercial.
Unfortunately I was not able to watch the Victoria Secret fashion show. I am not sure what fashion is today and some of the styles I saw were extreme. I wouldn’t say that I am uncomfortable walking into a Victoria Secret store but it not something I would like to do. It sometimes is awkward seeing a commercial with my mom. If my dad is in the room we usually just make a joke out of it.
I didn’t watch the fashion show. I understand that it’s a way of advertising but people aren’t going to buy the crazy costume part of the outfits, so I don’t think they should keep wasting their money on it. Not to mention some of the outfits are just plain hideous. I don’t think it’s an excuse to see women in lingerie but that it’s just a way of advertising. I think it can be damaging to young girls’ self-esteem but that most of the people that will be damaged by it is girls who are trying to be models.
I didn’t watch the Victoria’s Secret fashion show. I find the fashion show kind of demeaning for women. The show shows that only skinny blonde models can be attractive and that’s not true. I think it’s a mix of showing of lingerie and seeing half-naked women. I don’t mind walking into a Victoria’s Secret store. It’s not like I go in to peep. The only time I’ve been in was when my ex wanted some perfume.
I didn't watch the Victoria's Secret fashion show last night. Everything is fashion now. It's cute and people want to wear it, why not be fashion? I can see why someone would think that Victoria's Secret commercials are damaging. The girls that might be a little bigger might feel bad because they don't look that way.
I did not watch the Victoria Secret fashion show. I think the fashion show is kind of neat to watch, really just to see what crazy stuff people are wearing. I don’t think that it is a reason to see women in lingerie, I mean it is and it isn’t. Some guys may watch it to just look at the women, but there not in really scanty stuff, so it is not like live porn. I don’t think that the Victoria Secret commercials are damaging to girls self-esteem. I personally think that it is great that girls with big boobs can have pretty bra’s, just like other girls.
I didn't watch the Victoria's Secret fashion show. I thought it was pretty neat though. I liked some of the main outfits they showed. I think that lingerie is fashion. This is because fashion can be from your head to toe. Bras and underwear are considered fashion because you actually wear it so to me its fashion. Sometimes I think that the commercials can make young girls self-esteem drop because of how skinny they are and how there makeup is done. Most girls today look at them and want to be like them so they either starve themselves or become bulimic.

I love fashion shows, they are great. It's beautiful seeing how much work the designers put into one piece, you might look at and think trash. Of course guys want to see girls in lingerie but there is no doubt that it's a fashion show. There is one thing you have to understand, celebrities have money and power to look like they do. If your a normal person, surely you would look different than someone being made up for a fashion show or photoshoot. Girls shouldn't concentrate on the way the model looks but how she presents her self, with confidence and grace. There is nothing wrong with looking.
I missed most of the Victoria's Secret fashion show but I did catch the last 10 minutes of it. I liked the fashion show. It looked like a lot of fun. I think it is both fashion and an excuse to see women in lingerie. Part of the point of going down the runway is to show off the bras and stuff. I can't say that Victoria's Secret commercials, models, fashion shows, and etc. are not damaging to some young girls' self-esteem but that is their problem because it doesn't bother me.

First, no body will wear a bra with sparkels all over.Yes I do think Victoria's Secret Commercials are damaging to young girls self- esteem because they are starving their self to as thin as the models.

I did not watch it! Didn’t even know it was on, so mad I didn’t get too see it. I have seen the Victoria’s Secret fashion show before and I love seeing the different lingerie outfits the come up with. It’s very creative. I do think it is a fashion because people have lingerie parties and costumes can be put together with them. Also it they allow women to have pretty, designed bras and panties, I’m all in favor for cute bras and underwear! It helps women feel comfortable knowing that what they are wearing is attractive. I do not believe that Victoria’s Secret is damaging in any way. They have a teen line, Pink, for a reason. A girls self-esteem shouldn’t be offended by seeing the commercials because there just advertisement. Their models are living their career; a young girl can live her own dream just like they are doing theirs.

No I did not watch the Victoria's Secret fashion show last night. The show is what the show is. I don't really care one way or another. Unforetunetly for myself I could careless about going into the store as I've been dragged in there so many times that I stopped caring. Mrs. Bryant I'm politely asking for a more masculine subject tomorrow.
I did not know it was on. The fashion show look very entertaining. I think it's for both reasons. I don't feel uncomfortable walking in a victoria Secret store. I do not feel uncomfortable seeing a commercial on it with my mom in the room.
I didn't watch the fashion show last night. I don't know what I think about with this. However, I do think it damages young girls' self-esteem because some are struggling already with their looks or weight. We have to go through a lot when we're young. To be honest, I don't think these models look healthy at all.

I watched the Victoria Secrets show last night. I don’t think that the show is porn. However I thought that the outfits they wore looked weird. I liked the women who were sporting the new push up bra. I don’t like to go into Victoria Secrets with my mommy.
No I didn't I was enjoying my dinner that consisted of bread. I don't mind seeing ladies in their underwear. I feel very uncomfortable walking into a Victoria's Secret. I feel like they have the sex offender book and they are just trying to find my picture in it.
I didn't watch the VS fashion show. I watched Law and Order SVU. I think it's kind of cool, but it's not as creative as other runway shows. It's mostly just flashy public nudity. I don't think that Victoria's Secret commercials, models, or fashion shows are bad for girls. Although, some girls take it the wrong way and compare themselves to the Victoria's Secret models.
I did not watch the Victoria Secret fashion show last night. Women in lingerie, is a different form of fashion. This only damages young girl's self-esteem only if they just doing it to be like the other girls. I do not feel uncomfortable walking into ANY Victoria Secret store with anybody. Yes, I did watch the Victoria Secrets fashion show last night. I thought it was amazing. In my opinion it is fashion, because it's a style for woman. Its the same thing if you have a swim suit fashion show. I do think it is damaging young girls. You do not have to be a size two just to be consider pretty or sexy. I don't like the fact that they only advertise things for the "skinny" girls. Cause it looks as if they are saying to young girls that you have to be this size. Beauty comes from within in my opinion.
I did not watch the Victoria's Secret fashion show. I think that it's more of a parade of half dressed women then fashion. The commercials that Victoria Secret produce are damaging to young girls' self-esteem. It sends the message to young girls that all women must look perfect and skinny. Unfortunately, what young girls don't realize is that most of the models have self-esteem issues themselves. Who is to say what true beauty is?
No I did not see the Victoria's Secret fashion show,but from what I just saw it may have been a hit. I think the fashion show was interesting and out there. I like how they use all sorts of music while the models walk. I think that it is more an excuse to see women in lingerie then fashion. Yes I believe that Victoria's secret advertisements are damaging to girl's self-esteem. The commercials make girls feel like they should have bigger breast and like it makes them feel ashamed of themselves. When really everyone is different so why show off how big your chest is just to advertise Victoria's secret?The answer is you should not have to show off how big your chest is it is degrading to women. So yes I think that Victoria's secret commercials,models and the fashion show don't show that all women are different and that that's ok.
I think that some of them out-fits were so cute. It was amazing the way they put them balloons together and made a skirt. Some of those I wouldn't be caught in! I did like the one with the angel wings on the back. I don't think that it is damaging young girls self-esteem. I just think that it would help raise it and help them feel good about themselves!

I think some of the models could use a little weight..... I would feel more awkward seeing a Victoria's Secret commercial with my girlfriend in the room than my mom.
I didn't even know that there was a Victoria's Secret fashion show last night. I thought it was a little too much lingerie, but it was still a good show. I do agree with the fact that Victoria's Secret commercials, models, and fashion shows are damaging to young girls' self-esteem.I believe it kinda persuades them that they are not as beautiful as the women they see on TV. Especially if their hair is not as long or if they're not developed as much.
No, I did not watch the Victoria’s Secret fashion show last night. I don’t really consider this a fashion show. I think the commercials could hurt girl’s self-esteem. No I don’t really feel uncomfortable going into Victoria’s Secret. Its not really awkward watching the commercials with my mom.
I didn't watch the fashion show last night because I was watching How The Grinch Stole Christmas. I think the fashion show is pretty cool. It's amazing how someone could take two pieces of underwear and create a unique pair of lingerie. I think Victoria's Secret commercials and fashion shows damage girls' self-esteem. They should use more normal and natural looking girls.
