I liked this video for many reasons. One it shows that you can accomplish anything as long as you work hard enough. The man in the video lost both his legs and his arms yet he still triumphed. The second thing is how to deal with adversity. When he lost both his legs and arms in an accident it could have been easy for him to give up on life and everyone he loved. He didn’t he pushed through it and conquered his goal.

I think this guy is very brave and it would take a lot of courage for someone to do that I know I never would. I find it rather odd that he lost his arms and legs after being electrocuted while trying to fix a tv. From now on I know I will freak out every time I see someone working on one. I didn’t find it very inspirational, but to some I can see why it would be. One thing I have always wanted to accomplish is over coming my stage fright and start singing, and I don’t mean like professionally I just want to do it in front of church or start a praise team in my youth group, and I can say I have been inspired but I just have to take it one step at a time.

This man is living proof that people can accomplish anything. This man’s arms and legs were taken away from him. Instead of just lying down and not doing anything, he decided to show that his disability didn’t affect him as much as people thought. He accomplished something that lots of people without disabilities have never done. This man is sending a message that no matter how hard life knocks you down, you must get back up or, in the French man’s case, swim the English Channel.

I think this man is very inspirational to everyone! Here we have a man who has lost, not only his arms, but his legs as well. He swam from England to France, the English Channel, in 10 hours less than expected. He wore flippers specially designed for his legs and used a snorkel, this is a truly amazing story.

I think the video was inspirational, not because of what he did but because of the obstacles he had to face. I think he did it to prove that he could regardless of what people thought. It’s a video that shows that you can overcome great obstacles to achieve your dreams if you work hard. How he lost his limbs makes the achievement less inspirational but in the end I think it still goes to show that if you want something bad enough you can go out and do it. It proves that all your excuses for not being able to do something are really just excuses.

I think that people can accomplish anything. This man swam without arms or legs. This man has a tuff heart to swim in the water again. I would not try to do something like he did, but I would try to accomplish something that is good for my career. I want to get as many A's as possible this school year. I always wanted that and I am going to see how many I can get this school year.

His story is very inspirational, he is a quadruple amputee and he swam the English Channel. If he can do it then so can anyone else. Seeing that guy do something like that, it leaves no excuse for a normal person not to be able to do something. Just seeing that, it almost makes me want to try. Which is almost the point, If you put your heart into something and try then you will succeed.

I think that this video was made for the disabled people throughout the world. It might be inspirational to them due to the fact that they may want to learn how to swim but, simply can’t. This will be an eye opener to them saying that yes they can and will do anything they want to. This video isn’t really inspirational to me because I have no desire to swim the English Channel or to swim for a long period of time. But, in a way it is because he is saying to many people that you can do anything you put your mind to with dedication. I have always wanted to go to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia to swim in the reef. This is because I think that the reef would be a very beautiful place to see many different animals you don’t see everyday.

The story of the French amputee swimming the English Channel was really amazing and inspirational. I couldn’t believe he took 2 years to build up his stamina just to swim the English Channel. He had a dream and he fulfilled it. It just goes to show you that the seemingly impossible can be done. This just makes me wonder what other amazing things can be accomplished in life.

I thought this video was unique. I didn’t think was inspirational, but I think it was great that he accomplished his goal. Even though is got disable in a freak accident he didn’t let it get him down. He continues to live his life to the fullest. The one thing that I always wanted to do was bungee jump and sky dive. So him doing that just lets me know that I can do whatever I want to do in life

I'm happy for this man who accomplished his goal, and to prove that disabled people are actually able to do anything a regular person can do. I don't really think it was inspirational, but it could have been to people with disabilities. I've always wanted to sky dive for some reason. I would like to do it for the adrenaline rush. I've also wanted to make it in the NBA, because I love the sport of basketball.

This video is very inspirational. Whether I would swim that far, no. It shows that you may go through some traumatizing experiences and still be able to accomplish something such as that. It gives the courage for him to show others with amputations or any other physical problems that it’s still possible to accomplish things wanted in life. This video is pretty crazy, he doesn’t have arms or legs! In my life I was to accomplish many little things like college and learn how to salsa dance. My main goal would to become a marine biologist, study and photograph orcas (killer whales) in Vancouver Islands or Seattle.

Honestly I don't know what to think about the video, it wasn't the most interesting thing. I do think it was a huge accomplishment but I just wonder why he would want to swim across the English Channel. His story is inspirational especially for other amputees but also for regular people. His accomplishment can make others believe they can do anything if a quadruple amputee can swim across the English Channel. One day I would like to try sky diving.

I thought this video was awesome. This is very inspirational because he had lost his legs and arms and still swims the English Channel. I have never had a accomplishment like that but i'm sure one day I will. It is also pretty cool that his family was right there beside his side the whole time. It's also cool how he is ony person to ever do it.

It was amazing that he was able to what he did. It proves that even though we are all different we all have adversities. Yes I think it is inspirational because he was an amputee who swam to Africa . Even though I have lived almost all over Virginia yes there is one thing I would like to do. I want to ride a horse on a beach.

It is inspirational. Because no matter what your disabilities or problems you can do anything you want.

This is a little inspirational. One thing I've always wanted to do is open my own restaurant. I've always wanted to become a chef. I think this video is ok, you've picked some better ones.

This video was very inspirational. I was so happy to see this man swim for 13 hours in the sea. It shows that nothing is ever going to stop him. Even though he doesn't have all of his legs or arms; he still gives it his all. It may seem sad to see it at first but it was also very heartwarming.

This video was very inspectional. If a man with no legs or arms can swim the English Chanel then anything is possible. I believe that the man is very goal orientated. I also believe that he wanted to prove something to people who doubted him. All and all he is a hero.

I don’t find this video interesting at all. I am not even sure how to respond. Quite frankly it’s whatever I mean by this time next year someone with the same problem will out do him. There is no real inspiration in this video. Maybe I’ll be impressed if he makes it to Africa.

The video was cool. The story is kind of inspirational, he achieved something he wanted to do because he tried hard, although I don't see the significance of swimming a really long way. But it's cool he did that. I want to get into med school.

It didn't inspire me, maybe if I was confined to a wheelchair. His story inspires me not to work on TV’s. It inspires me not to work on TV’s, because I like having my arms and legs they are useful. I’ve always wanted to ride a pony. I am very afraid of ponies.

This video was alright, I don't really think it was inspirational though. It would be different if his arms were amputee in another way or if he was born like that. Loosing his arms and legs from a TV electrocuting him is really weird. But him being able to swim across the English Channel is a good accomplishment that I doubt I’d ever do. Anyways I personally have always wanted to go sky diving, but when I think about it I don't know if I’d really go through with it.

Honestly, I don’t know what to think of the video. The fact that he had no arms or legs and still swam across the English Channel is pretty fascinating. I guess he wanted to do something to prove that not having all his limbs wasn’t going to stop him from doing what he wanted. That was a long swim for anyone and he completed it. I applaud him for his determination and strong-will, but I wouldn’t have done it.

The video was stupid, boring, and pointless a man swam the English Channel that hade no appendages. The video was not inspirational at all. It doesn’t want to make me swim the English channel. Yes. I want to go to college and become a doctor.

I like this video. In a way, this man's story is inspirational. It doesn't make me want to swim the English Channel, but it inspires me to never give up even when it seems I have no chance at all. This man swam the entire English Channel after having a quadruple amputation. If that's not inspiring, I don't know what is.

The video I watched today was truly inspiring. The man in the video only had one limb. He lost the other three limbs by getting electrocuted. By him wanting to swim the English Channel inspired me to never ever want to give up. Just like Michael Jordan, he never gave up on what he wanted to do. I will never give up on what I want to do even if I never get a chance.

I think this video is lame. No, his story is not inspirational at all because, why would you try to do something stupid like this? I give him props for trying but I think he should just give up. Yes, there is something I want to accomplish. Singing and dancing on Broadway. I plan on getting there . :)

It is inspirational. Yes it is inspirational. Because no matter what your disabilities or problems you can do anything you want. There is nothing I wanted to accomplish yet.

This video surprised me. I think his story is very inspirational because, he accomplish something he wanted to do while having a disability. He didn't let getting shocked by his t.v., destroy his hope as well as his nerves. There are many things that I've wanted to do and accomplish. A couple include, getting honor roll a whole year in a row for both semesters, riding the Griffon at Busch Gardens.
