Get Service
Describe your reaction to the video. Did you learn anything from the video? Do you think the students at WHS treat people with "service" in mind, or do you think the students are more self-centered? If you were being truly honest with yourself, do you treat others with "service" in mind?

This video is very true about life. Many people dont see what others are going through, and many times can make there day much worse. Some of the people in WHS look out for one another, but there are some people in WHS that dont care, and seem to treat the ones that need help, disrespectfully. For the most part the WHS family is very strong and suppportive of each other. I believe at times I may not have "service" in mind, but for the most part I try to keep in mind, that even if I am having a bad day that someone else may be worse.

I did learn something from the video, i learn that you never know what the people around you are going through.People here and Windsor High School are very self-centered and fake, well most of them are. No not really to be honest . well i do to the people i like and care about.

It is important to think of others instead of yourself. People usually don't care about what others are going through and don't think that anything could be worse than whatever happened with them. I try to think about others as much as I can but at times when things seem really hard for me I am so concerned with what is going on in my life that I don't think about it.
My reaction to this video made me realize that somebody you thought you know, has their own problems. The students of WHS are for the most part self-centered. There are some acceptions to this. I do care about other people. Some I would give my life for. But I don't treat people with "Service" in mind.

My reaction was shocked. I learned that the world doesn't revolve around you. There are other people that have problems and only want someone to care or listen to what they have to say. The students at WHS are not self-centered. They help each other out and I don't see someone walk past a person crying. They will stop and ask what is wrong or something. I think I do treat others with service in mind because I want to be a Psychologist when I grow up. I think I try to help others as much as I can.

This video definitely makes you think. Most of the time, we forget that other people have troubling things going on in their life too. I think that most WHS students do treat people with service in mind. Our school is like a big family so we all know and care about each other. If I was being truly honest with myself, I do think that I treat others with service in mind the majority of the time, but everyone has moments where they are self-centered.

I learned a lot from this video. It shows that even if your having a bad day, other's are having an even worse day. I think students at WHS don't really think before they talk. They don't realize what other people might be going through. However, I don't think that it's just at WHS, it's everywhere. I try to sometimes keep "service" in mind, but I will admit, I don't do it most of the time.

At first I didn't really get it ,but as it went on i started feeling sad. Yes, I did learn something that even though you may not be in the greatest mood not to take it out on some one else because they got there own issues to handle and me saying something wont make it better.Well i think WHS students really don't treat people with service in mind. Alot of students only think about them self, all they think about is them self.... I can say I know alot of people like that. I truely don't treat service in mind sometimes. I am a little all about me but when I am really concerned about someone then I take the focus off me and on them.

The reaction of this video makes me thank twice before I judge someone. I truly don’t think student or faulty treat students with “service” in mind. It’s not the there self centered it just that there not worried about what has happened to someone else. I hard to focus on something else when you your self is having a bad day. I no for a fact I don’t treat people with “service” everyday. However I try to at least give people the benefit of the doubt in situations. -Alia H
The clip from Get Service is a great way to get people to think about how they treat other people. I believe that yes sometime people here at WHS can be a little self centered. Sometimes it not that we mean to be its just the way we are sometimes in the fast pace world that we live in today. Being truly honest sometimes I don not treat others with service in mind. But it’s a task that we can all work towards getting better at. We never know what other people are going through so we should try not o think about “us” all the time.

In the beginning of the video I was just thinking the guy was having a bad day and taking it out on everyone around him. I learned that sometimes when you think you’ve got it bad, you realize that the people surrounding you have they’re own struggles. Everyone is in need for support, comfort, and love. I think that most of us here at school are self-centered, and that includes me. We don’t all walk the halls with other people’s emotions and situations in mind...If we did then there wouldn’t be bullying and teasing. I don’t always put myself in other people’s shoes. I can go through the day and only think about myself. This video definitely makes you think. For now on I’ll be watching myself to keep “service” in mind.

My reaction to this video wasn't a very big one. I understand everyone has there own problems some worse then others but for me it's all how you handle your situation. People react differently to differnet situations. For the students at WHS some are kind and some arn't, there is a mixutre of people in the school just like the rest of world. I try to treat people with repect and kindness if I feel they don't deserve it from an act they have done to me personally then i tend to stray away for them, until the issue is resolved. But I don't have many people that I have a personal problem with and very few that have a problem with me.

This video shows that you should always be courteous and respect others. You never know, what is going on in others personal lives. I believe that the students at Windsor High School treat others with service in mind, because they treat their teachers and other students like they would like to be treated. I treat others with service in mind because i will even speak to others that I do not know. In the morning i will hold the door for people coming into school.

I learned a lot of things from the “Get Service “video. Some of the things that I have learned were that we all need to treat people the same and watch what we think about people. I don’t think that everyone at Windsor High School treat people with "service" in mind. Some students are self centered and don’t care about other people feelings. I think I treat people with "service" in mind. I feel that some people might not be able to have what you have in life. I think we should treat everyone the same no matter what they do and what the look like.

That video was sad to me. You shouldn't treat everyone like your more important then they are because they have problems too. Maybe some students at WHS treat poeple with "service in mind", but probably not all of them. I think I do treat others with service in mind because I'm never in a hurry. I don't have anything that is that important to be rude to others.
This video is very sad. I learned that everyone has problems not just you.I think that people in WHS have " service" in mind, but others, not so much. A lot of people in the world today are more self-centered. I try my best to treat others with "service" in mind. I know how other people feel. Everyone has feelings and everyone's feelings need to be respected.

This video is really sad. It's a bit of an eye opener. Now, more students are very self-centered and do not have service in mind. I doubt any one person has really kept service in mind while walking through school. I know I haven't which isn't a good thing at all.

I thought the video had a lot of truth. We all only see the outside apperarance of things in our every day life, rather than the reality of them. I think we all, as student at WHS, are blind to what others are truly thinking and feeling. I can admit that I do not always see life through those glasses; I should have more of an open mind. You never know what's going on in someone's mind.
Well my reaction to the video is pretty much normal. Also this video teaches a lot all though it's short. A lot of people probably don't think about other people like that. They don't know where people come from or what's going on to them. And I think many students at WHS treat people with "Service" in mind at all. To be honestly not all time, no, I don't always look at people with "Service" or respect. But for the most part I do, I love respect and being treated with respect.

Well i learned that the video was really really really sad! :( But what I really learned is before you get all angry or whatever, you should think about the other person! Some people have "service" in mind at WHS but I'm sure at least half of the people here don't...even though its not a good thing. Sometimes I treat people with "service" in mind but I'm pretty sure that there are times that I don't. -Summer Wilson

When the video first started I thought why are we even watching this, but it was very emotional. It really opens up your eyes to realize how you should treat people because you never know what they are going through. Some people treat others with service, but most people do not take the time to think about what they say before they realize how it may affect the other person. Honestly, I am the type of person who does not like to hurt other people's feeling because it makes me feel bad. Therefore, if I have to be mean about something I try to find a nice way to say it.

So often in this world, we as humans can be come consumed with them selves and don’t take the time to stop and help a fellow human being. I think that most teachers really do care about students well being, but only a select few students care about other people. I used to just go about my life thinking only of myself, but I have learned to stop and take the time to ask someone who their day is going or how they are doing. Being kind and compassionate to other people is the way we as a society should strive to act. My reaction towards the video it that the video really shows that your not the only one having a bad day. I did learn that no matter how bad my day is going I still shouldn’t take it out on people around me because their day could be worse. I think that a lot of students at WHS are more concerned about themselves and but themselves first, instead of considering other peoples feelings. I believe that I do treat people with service in mind. All my friends tell me that I am too sensitive (lol). I always consider everyone’s feelings.-Roielle <3
The video to me was really sad, but it made a good point. It shows that people don't always think about others. Sometimes we take things for granted or just don't think twice about other people's feelings. Windsor High School in a whole has a lot of nice and caring people and teachers, but there are always people everywhere with bad attitudes or just don't care. Everyone has bad days and not everyone thinks before they speak every time but that doesn't make it okay. I admit i have done or said things that I shouldn't to others. Overall I try to get to know someone before i speak about them. One thing I never do is judge because everyone makes mistakes and deserves a second chance.

I have learned something from it, I learned that although things might not be going your way at all, that you should keep in mind of other people feelings or concerns. And I don't really have the right to judge people on how they think or not. I have to admit that i don't think like that every second of everyday! But its is good, to have an eye opener or in this case, a tear dropper

I learned alot from this video. I learned that you should treat people the way you would want to be treated and that you should'nt judge them and look at them like they owe you something when really they don't. I think that the people at WHS do treat people with service in mind because they don't just think of there selves and they treat other people with respect. It was a very sad video to watch. When I was watching the video I was thiniking the samething as the man was thinking such as when the women took the man parking space. It was a good clip I guess, but I'm not into sad movies. Not many people in Windsor treat others with service in mind. All depending on who you look at you can find people who are self-centered and those who aren't, but even those who aren't self-centered don't really have service in mind. I know I don't treat others with service in mind but i am never self-centered. I don't know if I would be able to treat others with service in mind because i don't like people that much anyway.
