This clip is motivational to me because it is inspiring. It shows that no matter what you think you can do, you can always give more. When I was little I always used to think that I could never get good grades or do in good in school, but my Mom always pushed me and it has made me want to succeed. This year my goals are to get all A’s on my report card and to start in all sports that I am participating in. Factors that determine whether or not people achieve their goals in my opinion are their minds. Humans as a whole let their mind set limitations to what they can and can’t do, but you just need to let your heart overrule your mind. -Nick Powell
The clip from the movie "Facing the Giants" is motivational for me because it shows that when you think you can't do something all you have to do is push yourself harder and believe that you can. My brother always pushed me harder and harder in school to get better grades and I didn't think I could, but then I ended up getting honor roll. My goal for this year is to get honor roll all year. I think that everyone can achieve there goals as long as they put there mind to it and realize that you may fail a couple times before you succeed. So never give up and push yourself as hard as you can!
The clip is motivational for me because in this time period so many people are selfish and in this clip it shows that the coach really cares about his players and getting the best out of them. Someone pushed me once when it comes to art. I used to give up a lot if I couldn’t get it right the first time, but now I keep trying. Goals I have set are mainly personal goals, about the kind of person I want to be. People themselves determine whether they succeed their goals or not. No one is going to get in the way of your goals.
This clip is motivational to be because of the way he felt like giving up but his coach pushed him, and her went further than he had imagined. I can’t remember what grade I was in but I remember when my teachers suggested that I that I take advanced classes, but I did not think that I was going to be able to pass if I was in advanced classes. At the end of the nine weeks I was passing my classes with A’s and B’s. Goals that I have set for myself this year is to make honor roll at least once. I think that in order to achieve your goals you have to actually try, because nothing in life comes easy. I also believe that you have to be determined and believe in yourself because you are your biggest supporter.-Roielle
Andrea Johnson 4th block This clip was motivational for me because it encourages me to always give my every best. I hate being challenged even when I know that I can do it so there have been multiple times when someone has had to push me. My goals this year is to get my learner’s, a job, and pass the 10th grade. I think the most important factor in achieving your goal in to have self-confidence. It is one thing to have support but, that means absolutely nothing if your heart is some where else. Therefore, your goals in life should make you happy even if no one else agrees. That’s just something they are going to have too learn how to deal with.
Well to start off, I think “Facing the Giants” is motivational to me because it’s powerful. It starts of as a team that can’t play at all. But actually ends up a mighty and powerful team. There has been times you just want to give up. One example is school, a couple of years ago in Middle School, I kept thinking I was going to fail, but people kept telling me, “DON’T GIVE UP”. And this movie reminded of that. My goals in life are to work in the Law Enforcement side of the government. And I know it will be hard, but I will never give up. - Craig St.
It’s motivational for me because I’ve always done WAY less than I know I can do. In seventh grade, I was running the 5K and my friend pushed me to my limit but I kept going because I had pushed her just like she was pushing me then. I thanked her for that. I’ve tried to be more fit and give up on drinking too much soda. I gave up on the being more fit because I did 400 sit-ups in two days and I felt like I was going to die my stomach was so sore. I have slacked up on the soda though. In my opinion, people are better at achieving their goals when they have someone to do them with them, rather than doing them alone.
This clip is motivational to me because the coach is determined that his players can do it and he keeps pushing the boy. My track coach Burchette pushed me to do my best at a track meet last year and I got 2nd place. The goal that I've set for myself this year is to be determined in everything I do. People can achieve goals by believing in themselves and not giving up no matter what!
The thing that is so motivational about it is that he didn’t believe he was going to make the 50 yards, and when he removed his blind fold he had done twice that amount. He didn’t think he could do it, and then he did it better because he gave it his all. My mom pushed me into taking two maths last year so I could take pre-calculus and calculus in high school over the next two years. I didn’t want to but I did and passed both of them and now I won’t have to take those classes in college. This year I just plan to pass all of my classes. In my opinion people fail to achieve goals because it’s one big long term goal, then it seems impossible. They need to make it into several short term goals then when they achieve one they will feel good and strive for the next one. Danielle C.
I think the video was very inspirational. It pretty much tells you that you can do anything on this earth that you want. Once you put your mind to it you can do anything. The video also tells you that sometimes your leadership is all other people need in order to believe in themselves. It was a very good video and it was actually a true message that was being sent to the viewers. -Shaquii
I don't know if I consider this video to be motivational, but I do believe that people don't know their true limits. People often set goals and limits far less then they can actually do. Factors that determine whether or not a person achieves his/her goals are determination, rewards, and the support of others. Many people set goals for themselves when they have a big job to do. I personally do not have any major goals set for this year.
This was motivational for me because it tells you to work harder i guess. I'm always being pushed to my hardest by my mom and other family members. I have set tons of goals for myself this year, which is a good thing i hope. People can achieve their goals if they stay focused and try really really really really really hard! -Summer Wilson p.s. i added all those reallys for dramatic effect :)
The movie was motivating in the way as not to give up, and to clarify I have never had anyone ever pushed me too achieve more than what I thought was possible. The goal I set for myself this year is to graduate from school, but after I get out of school I’m just going to take a break. Many factors determine either people achieve or fail. Some of those factors are their attitude, people they hang with, and most important factor is the people who they are influenced by. Most people who do achieve have many supporting family member and friends that give them positive thinking about themselves. James S.
This video clip was motivational to me because it shows that you can accomplish anything you really try to do. The football player didn't know he would be able go the whole way and he did. Two years ago my aunt wanted me to teach a dance class at her girl scout camp. I was really nervous because I had to come up with a routine in two days and teach it in four. I was also a little worried because all the girls were counting on me and had to present this to their parents. I was pushed to do it, but it was a wonderful experience and I did it the following year too. My only goal this year so far is to pass my geometry class. I am in a math ahead of my grade, and I'm struggling a little. To me the only way anyone can achieve a goal is to put their best foot forward and try their best. -Amber Bass
The clip from “Facing the Giants” motivated me because he blindfolded him and told him to give his best. He made it all the way across the field all because the coach pushed and encourage him. My mom and my step dad pushed me into making honor roll all last year. I didn’t think I could do it because I didn’t like science. They kept encouraging me and I soon realized I got an A in science. The goals I set for myself, is to go to school everyday and to try and make principal’s list. I think if they have a good coach or teacher to help motivate them in a good way they will turn out good. But if the coach or teacher says you can’t do it then they will think they can’t and not try their best. Samantha

I had through I had reached my limit but my teacher pushed me through the pain. My goals this year have are better grades and to accomplish new techniques I have learned in dance. You as a person really determine if u have accomplished your goals or not.-Alia H
The clip from the movie “Facing the Giants”, is motivational because it shows that you can do anything that you set your mind to. There was a time when I was just looking to just barely squeeze by in school but my parents pushed me to do the best that I could. This year I have set a goal to obtain a 3.5 grade point average. It may be difficult but I know it will help me out in the long run. I think peoples determination whether or not people achieve goals they set for themselves. -Bryce
Motivation can be the key to success. There has been many times where I felt like giving up but there was always people there to motivate me. Having the experience of playing basketball on a team with 10 other girls there comes challenges. Our coaches were great motivators, through it all they were there to pick us up and help us along. They never allowed us to give up no matter how hard the challenges they set before us may be. Yes, anyone can achieve any goal that they set for themselves. It’s a matter of how far they are wiling to go and how hard they are willing to work for it. Sherrell
The clip from “Facing the Giants” made me feel motivated. It made me feel like anything is possible if you try hard. One time, I thought I couldn’t beat my granddad in a sparring match. I tried technique after technique, but I couldn’t beat him. My granddad told me that I wasn’t good enough and that I was holding back. I got mad and the next round I beat him. In my opinion, hard work, guts, and ambition are key to succeeding in your goals. Parker. Do not post.
This clip is motivational to me because people have so much more drive then they think. That rush, the endurance, and the adrenalin to push your self until you can’t anymore. I’ve had coaches for gymnastics that push me to be better, to work harder, and I try to perform my best as often as I can. A goal for me this year is to help the varsity cheerleading team get to the state competition. Also when you doubt yourself you tend to not be able to push your self as far, but when you have a person your striving for and is there for you to give you that push it’s more possible to do something u think you couldn’t.
This clip from the movie is a motivation to me because it proves that attitude really is key. With a positive attitude and encouragement from those surrounding you, you can do more than what you may think. One time during cheering practice my freshman year the captain, Shana Hall, encouraged me to be a flyer. I didn’t think that it would ever be possible for someone to put me into the air and throw me around. I was terrified, but I had Shana Hall and many other girls teach me and push me to do what I thought was impossible. This year I have a goal to be the best cheerleader I can be. I want to continue to push myself to get a round-off back-hand-spring-tuck. I also want to get my scorpion and twist-down. I think the main factor that determined whether or not people achieve the goals they set for themselves is will power.
The clip from “Facing the Giants” was motivational to me. It showed that anything is possible as long as you never give up. My main goal for this year is to try my best in school. Even when you don’t think you can do something if you try hard enough it can happen. In my opinion as long as you set your mind on something you can do anything. -Jessica :)
This clip is motivational because the young man already had a negative mind about the game which made the coach want to see if he would give up on himself. My dad always pushed me to stay fit while I lived with him, even though my body would hurt i would have to wake every morning and walk 2 miles. Made me feel good about myself. My goals this year is to graduate and do the beat I can. My opion is if you work hard and make an effort to so it . Not just give up , and do it. You will achieve it Gigi

This movie. "Facing the Giants" is motivational to me because it shows you can do anything if you put your heart and mind into it.When i played basketball my 8th grade year and my coach pushed me until i finish my suicides.Goals i have set for myself this year is to make good grades, get a car, a job, and make the basketball team. The factor is whether they believe in their self or not . Schatese A. Cherry-Collins
The guidance tried to put me in advanced P.E., but i knew i couldnt make it. My goal for this school year is to graduate from WHS. If people keep trying and never give up, they will achieve their goals. hakeem
The movie clip from “Facing the Giants “was motivated to me. The reasons why it was motivational to me is because it makes me think of how ways to push myself and to keep doing things even when I don’t feel like it and when I get tired of doing it. I remember when I was very tired and came to basketball practice. I kept saying in my head that I was too tired to practice and didn’t want to run a lot and I couldn’t do it. As time went by and I felt like I was being lazy. When I felt myself being lazy my coach felt it also. When I saw her looking at me and I also heard her say a few words to encourage me I kept my head up and kept going. At the end of practice I realized that I had pushed myself to the limit and I had given it my all. Those few words that the coach said to me made me motivated me to do my best. I have set goals for myself this and a way to succeed in all of them. One is to do my best in any sport that I play and to go all the way. Another is focus more on my life an on God. You mind can determine whether of not a person achieves the goals that they set for themselves. The mind is the battleground and if you think one way than you re going to go only that one way. Listening to what other people say can also determine wheater not a person achieves their goals. There are many way to moivate yourself just as well as there are many ways other people can movitate you.

You will achieve it

This clip from the movie is a motivation to me because it proves that attitude really is key. – Austin B
