In general, who do you think talks more, men or women? Do you think you could talk "a hole in someone's head?" Do you know anyone who is an exception to the rule that women talk more than men? Do you think talking a lot is a bad thing? Why or why not? Does Mrs. Bryant talk to much?

As a whole, the female sex does talk more than males; however, I know many exceptions to that rule. Whether someone can talk a lot or not greatly depends on the topic of conversation. If a female is on a rant about herself, she could talk for days. Women love to talk about themselves, but then again, men do too. However, some people just have a naturally quiet disposition, male and female. Talking a lot isn't a bad thing though. Communication skills are a vital part of being successful in the career world. In almost every job, the employee must interact with other employees, customers, and also people of a higher rank. A lack of communication skills can take a detrimental toll on the company as a whole.

Women talk way more than men do. I don't think men can talk in some one's head, we'd run out of things to say. I think all women talk more there is no exception. Talking a lot is bad thing, people get tired of listening and get annoyed. Does Mrs.Bryant talk to much? I plee the 5th.
I think women talk more because men have selective hearing. I don't think I could talk a hole in someones head. I don't know anybody who is an exception. Mrs. Bryant talks just the right amount.
I personally think women talk more than men. While you can meet some men that will talk your head off. There is no exception that women talk more than men. Talking isn't a bad thing I think. Mrs. Bryant talks a lot but not as much as Mrs. Waters !
I think women talk a bit more than women. I think that women just want to make sure they're heard though. I do know someone who can talk a hole in someone's head, and that is most certainly Ashlyn. I know plenty of women who talk less than men. I know a lot of men who talk more than women. I do not think that Talking a lot is a bad thing, because people need to be able to communicate. Mr. Bossick is an exception to the rule that women talk more than men. He can talk for hours on end even though he claims he "doesn't like to." Talking a lot is sometimes a bad thing, but it is mostly a good thing because lacking communication can hurt people mentally and in the business world. Mrs. Bryant is a women who doesn't talk too much or too little. She has great communication skills.
Women talk more than most men. We have more things to say and just communicate better. I could talk a hole into someone's head but sometimes I just don't feel like talking. The only thing I can think of for women talking more than men is we communicate better, just like the video said. Talking is not a bad thing. Some may never know what you mean if you don't speak up. Overall I think women talk more than men but that isn't always true. I know plenty of men that talk constantly. Talking a lot is only bad if you never stop for any reason. After awhile people will just want to punch you. You have to know when to stop or when the other person has stopped listening. Mrs. Bryant talks a normal amount.

Women talk way more than men. I couldn't talk a hole in anybody's head. I only know one person that is an exception to the rule. That person would be Tyler Butler. He talks a lot and really fast too. But, he is cool and all so it makes up for it. He even won the "Most Talkative" superlative in 8th grade. usually, girls talk much much more than boys. If one was to think about gossiping and drama going around the school, they would figure out that it is mainly girls that say things and that gossip the most and spread the most rumors. Boys don't care about all of that. In Windsor, there is even a list of names of guys to stay away from in the stall in the girls' bathroom. Everyone knows about the list now. Boys don't do this though. We don't write lists about "girls to stay away from". Its pointless.
Most women do talk more than men. Although, I know some men that contradict the new research. It is interesting that scientists from the University of Maryland School of Medicine have discovered that women have more FOXP2 in their brains than men. Talking a lot is not a bad thing, but there is a time and place for it. I agree with anchors on the Today Show, that women communicate and express themselves better than most men do.

I also think that women talk a lot. It's not that it is a bad thing they just need to know when it's time to be quite. I get mad when someone is talking my head of but, out of respect I just let them keep talking. Not every female talks a lot. I don't think that Mrs.Bryant talks a lot.

I know many people who are the exception to this rule. One of my dad's friends talks and talks and talks. He seriously never shuts up. There is no dull moment, nor a quiet moment! I don't think that I talk "too" much. Though when I do talk 95 mph my mom knows that something is up. I don't think that talking a lot is a bad thing, I don't think that it is a good thing either. People are actually having to get certain surgeries because they text way too much; so in that sense, talking would be better than texting. Talking can lead to new thoughts, sharing thoughts, creating something never invented before.
I think that in most cases, women talk the most, but men can talk quite a bit. I KNOW I can talk a "hole" in someone's head, I do it a lot. I'd probably be one of the exceptions for women talking more than men sometimes, but sometimes I like to just not say anything for a little while. Talking a lot isn't necessarily a bad thing, as long as you're having an intelligent conversation, or a conversation that brings laughter without harming others. And Mrs. Bryant DEFINITELY doesn't talk too much!

Women do talk a whole bunch, sometimes too much. I couldn't talk as much as any woman. I do sometimes just zone out of the conversation, because I get bored of it.
I think women do talk more than men overall. However, I believe i can out-talk anyone on this earth. Mrs. Bryant can't hold a candle to my talking abilities. Talking is the only way someone can make sure that they are heard. I love to talk.
I would agree that most women talk a lot. Yet I still know many exceptions to that rule. Men probably talk more than they realize, but still don't talk as much as women. Sometimes women feel the need to over communicate to make sure things go the way they're planned.
Most women talk more than men. I can only talk a whole in someones head when i am really hyper. There is someone for example in our class, that is a man, that loves to talk. Talking a lot is good in some situations, but in some places you cannot talk a lot. Mrs.Bryant talks the right amount and gives what is needed and not much more.

Generally I think women talk more than men. I know for sure I could talk a hole in someones head. Talking too much can be a bad thing, but for the most part it's not. I do know a few cases were men talk more than women.

I do think women talk more than men. Not all women, but a good majority of them. I could never talk a hole in someones head, because i dont talk much, im a shy person. talking a lot can and cant be a bad thhing, depends on the situation. I dont think Mrs. Bryant talks too much.
Most women talk more than men. Women tend to talk a lot when we are on a rant or when we are having girl time and are talking about everything that has been going on. I honestly don't think men talk as much because they can't get a word in when they are talking to women. I personally don't think I could talk a whole in someone’s head, I don't think I talk that much unless I'm talking to my mom or my friends. I don't think talking a lot is a bad thing; I think it will help your personality and your communication skills. Mrs. Bryant talks a lot but it's not about boring things it's always something to listen to. I would rather listen to her talk all class period than sit in a silent room and do work.

I agree with the lady that said women want to be heard so we repeat ourselves multiple times. If men were better listeners, we wouldn't repeat ourselves so much.
