This post is very ignorant. Okay first off, the president's daughters have to be protected. They are targets of kidnaps or whatever. As a regular student isn't much of a threat to a other countries. - Dion
I don't really get into politics, but this does seem a bit harsh. There isnt a real need to bring obamas kids into it. Of course there going to be gaurded, they are the presidents kids after all. Why is everybody getting up in a fuss about gun control now when it already was a problem, now its getting to the point where they want to take all our guns? yeah. that'll work out perfectly.
No I don't agree with this commercial. I'm not sure if this ad went to far, yes the presidents kids are more protected but seriously they have to be. Other schools should be protected too though. -Kirsten
I don't really care to agree with the ad. In my opinion I don't think Obama's kids are more important than me or anybody else, I think the fact of the matter is that their the children of the President of The United States so of course their going to be protected by armed guards at all times. -Dixie Gibson
I do agree with it somewhat. If his kids are protected by armed guards in their schools, we should be protected, too. I do think that this ad went a little too far by including Obama's kids in their argument against gun control. I don't think they should have brought his kids into the argument. Yes, other kids are just as important as Obama's kids, but because he is the president, the kids automatically have more protection in the White House and at the school.

This is just stupid, I believe the government has become ignorant. Public schools have nothing to do with the President. Guns dont kill people, people kill people, with guns, knives, bats, etc. If someone wants to kill someone, they will find a way.
I do agree with this add but I also do think we are safe in our school. I think the add didn't go too far cause it caught my attention when it said that. His kids are more protected but they are the president's kids. Katherine
