I don't think that it is a appropriate punishment for school. I would not let a school teacher paddle my child. They shouldn't even be able to touch children like that in school. I would spank a child if they did something wrong. Then they wont do whatever they did wrong again.
That us not appropriate at school. I would not allow my child to be paddled at school. A high school none the less. But i would spank my child, but only at home. If my child does something wrong i can spank them as they are MY child.

I think it is hilarious! This punishment is perfect for schools, it use to be a punishment when my dad was in school. Students did not backtalk teachers then, nor did they get in trouble as much as they do now. I use to be spanked as a young child, was not fun but it taught me a lesson. I probably would not allow a teacher to spank my child. because the teacher could call me, and I would inflict a punishment to my own child.

THats messed up, thats all i can think of this article. This punishment is maybe reasonably okay for like elementary school, but not for anything after. Little kids are the only ones that are scared of a beating. If a teacher or someone for school paddled my child, it might as well be an apocalypse. If i had to, id spank my child, because you may not have a paddle around.

I think everything about paddling is wrong. I think this is very inappropriate for schools. I would not want my daughter to be beat by a male, it is just wrong. I would not spank my child.

I think that is crazy. It is total unfair and so inappropriate. I think the punishment was beyond wrong. No male vice principal or any teacher should be that aggressive with a student. The girl ended up with a blistered behind for what...? cheating?. If I were a parent in no way shape or form would I allow school administrators or teachers to lay their hands on my child physically. I think its the parent's responsibility to make sure their child is doing what their suppose to do in school. The paddling alternative punishment shouldn't exist.

No this punishment should not be appropriate for school. If a child or teenager needs to be disciplined for something let the parents handle it. No I wouldn't allow a school teacher or administration hit my child. If i was a a parent I would spank my child, I mean if it was for a reason. But I wouldn't let other people do it.

I don't think It's right for anyone at school to hit anyone else's child. It's really not appropriate for schools either, besides someone could get hurt very bad. No I wouldn't let anyone paddle my child. They wouldn't want me to paddle there child. They actually wouldn't let anyone paddle there child. I probably would spank my child. Only if they did something wrong though. But I surely wouldn't paddle them.
