Workplace Readiness: Personal Qualities and People Skills

7 qualities employers expect you to have and bring with you to the workplace include a positive work ethic, integrity, interpersonal skills, conflict-resolution skills, self-representation skills, diversity awareness, and creativity. 1. I think positive work ethic, interpersonal skills, and integrity are the most important. The reasons are because if you don't have a positive attitude about your job or where you are, others feed off of your negative energy. Integrity is definately important. You don't get a job to stand around and do nothing and have no goals or values. Interpersonal skills is also very important. If you don't treat others they way you want to be treated you won't make it to far in the working world.

Positive work ethic, conflict resolution skills, and self representation skills are the most important qualities to have when trying to get a job. The reason why is because that is what the employers are looking for the most in my point of view. Positive work ethic is my best quality and conflict resolution is definitely my worst.

I think the 3 skills listed above that are most important are a positive work ethic, self-representation skills, and integrity. I think these are most important because they to me are the three main characteristics of a good worker. The quality that I think I display extremely well is integrity. The one I need to work on the most is a positive work ethic. I sometimes get easily discouraged when I'm working on something and don't understand it.

I feel that Positive work ethic, conflict-resolution skills, and creativity are the three most important work qualities. I feel that I offer creativity the most, because of all of the art I have taken. I need to work on my conflict-resolution skills, because instead of talking things out with people, I just write them off from my life. In the work place all of these points are important. I think these are important for every job because you always need a plan B and different ways to do different things. My top three are Conflict-Resolution Skills, Creativity, and Positive Work Ethic. When I get older and now in my life these qualities are very good because im very good at thinking of other ways to do things or something else to do. I think that positive Work ethic, Creativity and Conflict-Resolution skills are the most important because those are qualities that people like to see and are all good qualities in the work place that allow friendly relations with coworkers. I believe that I display good conflict-resolution and self-representation skills because when I do have a conflict which isn't often I like to resolve it. I need to work on my work ethic for jobs and such but I feel like I will do my work at my job because it's not like schoolwork.

I think positive work ethic, interpersonal skills, and creative is the three most important to me because in any job you need a positive work ethic to help you and others get through the day. I think that all the skills are important but the most important to me would probably be positive work ethic, interpersonal skills and conflict-resolution skills, because without these skills you would not have a good attitude towards your work ethic. The most important trait to have, in my opinion, at the workplace is positive work ethnic. Who wants a lazy worker who gets paid to do nothing? the other two that are also good to have are self-representation skills and conflict-resolution skills.
From this list, I think I display diversity-awareness the best. I don't hate on or judge people based on their skin or religion. It's just wrong to do something like that. One that I do need to work on though is my work ethnic. That's for sure! Who doesn't anyway?
