I think the lady that got it out of the trash should keep the money because she found it and obviously the lady that put it in there didn't want it anymore. I don't think that the other party has a very good argument for keeping the money because she put it in the trash, so obviously she didn't want it anymore.
I think the lady who got it out of the trash is the one who should receive the money. The Sharon who bought it obviously threw it away because she didn't think that it was a "winner" and the other Sharon was just the lucky one to pick it up. The only reason the buyer of the ticket is fighting for this money is because shes greedy. I feel as if the family who found it found it for a reason. Obviously they had a lot of debt they needed to pay off. I think the lady who found the ticket in the trash has a better argument than the buyer. I have one 10 dollars from the lottery before that's it.

I think the lady who found it in the trash can should win the $680,000 prize money.I think that because somebody threw it away meaning they didn't want it so it should be the person who found it.No I do not think the other party has a good argument for keeping the money.Yes I have won little things in my lifetime.
I believe that the women that found the ticket should keep the money. When something is thrown away they have gotten rid of it. That is the way it is. If someone throws something away they do not own it anymore.
I think the woman that found it in the trash, should keep the 680,000 prize money. Why, because if you through something away then it's not yours anymore. I don't think the other party has a good argument for keeping the money. Yes, I did win something. I won another day to live.

This is crap. The woman that threw the ticket away has no more claim to any money that would come from the winnings. The woman that threw the ticket away does not have a good argument. I've won a few bucks on a ticket my mom bought for me, only like $40. I have more luck just finding money on the ground, I have found more than $60 in this way.

I think that the lady that found it in the trash should win the $680,000 prize money. The other lady do have an argument because she paid for it, but its not that good because she threw it in the trash so therefore its not hers anymore. I have won a few things in myself but not ever this big tho.
I think the woman who found it should get the money. I think the other lady should have double checked her ticket. I do see how the other lady would feel that she should get the money. I would be devastated if the judge would have told me that I had to give the money back. I have won raffles before.

I would give the money to the woman who found the ticket in the trash. It isn't her fault that the other lady threw the ticket out, and she shouldn't be punished for the other woman's stupidity. The other woman should not blame the machine, because it was already proven that the machine was functional. She has nothing to base her argument off of, and simply should not have thrown it away, and thereby given away her right to the money. I have not ever won anything like that.
The lady that threw the ticket away does not deserve the money. She threw the ticket away on her own not paying attention. I do think the other party has a good argument for keeping the money only because she picks up the tickets out the trash can and it wasn't her fault the other lady threw the ticket in the trash. She was just doing what she usually does. Yes, I've won money off them that my mom has bought me but nothing big though.
Wow I hope these people don’t have to pay the other lady back, that’s such a hard topic. They say that the original owner of the scratcher wouldn’t of thrown it away if she would of known the value, but if she wouldn’t of been lazy and scratched it instead of scanned it she would have noticed the win. The original owner isn’t missing out on anything and if she didn’t find out she would have never been missing this fortune so I think she should get the 20 dollars she paid for the scratcher but that’s it! This lady has a weird habit of dumpster diving for old tickets but sometimes it can pay off. I don’t think its steeling because like that sign said by the trash can “feel free to take tickets out of trash”.
I think that the lady who found it in the trash should get the money because the other lady put it in the trash can so she didn't want it anymore therefore the other lady gets the money. No, the other party has a horrible argument, if you throw something in the trash you don't own it anymore. I just won 50 dollars last week from a scratch off ticket.
The lady who found it should obviously get it. She is in need for it. Her husband was laid off of his job for a year and it's probably hard to live without a job. That lottery ticket is going to be a big help for them. The other party is definitely going to lose. Just because you were working there or you're the owner, doesn't mean you can get the ticket. Might as well "take" the rest of them. People come up to our store and do that all the time. When you see people walking in with black trash bags, you know what to do. I think the woman who retrieved the lottery ticket out of the trash should receive the money. The other woman carelessly threw it in the trash can. The only reason she wants to claim it now is because it's a winning ticket. I think all of the money should be rewarded to the woman who found it.
I think the women who found it won. If your not responsible to keep it then you don't deserve it. She doesn't have any argument. She threw it away, therefore its not hers. I won $100 on a ticket once.
The people who found it deserves it. The other person threw it away. There was a lot of money in that ticket. The one who threw it away should've thought of that.

I think the lady who found the ticket in the trash should sin the money because the other woman didn't want it. The woman who threw it away wouldn't have cared if it was only five dollars she won. I don't think the other party has a good argument because the moment she threw it away was the moment it stopped belonging to her. I have won few drawings before and won a basket of candy and I won concert tickets once.
I think I should win the $680,000 prize money. Or I think responsible people should win it. Because I should give money to people who need it and give to the poor. I would spend it on bills such as college loans. And I give give some of it to my family.
The lady that found it should get the money, the one who threw the ticket away is at fault. I think if the ticket rung up wrong that is at fault, I wish they could split it. And defintitly the lady shouldn't have to come up with the rest of the money she did nothing wrong. I wish I could win something lie that, the only thing I have ever won is some cake in a cake walk haha.

I think the lady who found it in the trash should be able to keep it. The lady who threw it away obviously didn't want it anymore. Also, she shouldn't have to pay the money she already spent. The lady didn't know! It's not her fault. No, I don't think the other party should get the money at all. I have won a couple of things, but nothing big like the lottery!

I feel that the women who found it in the trash can, because finder’s keepers. If you throw it away you don’t want it. The other party does not have a good argument for keeping the money. She threw it away. If it wasn’t for the women who pulled it out of the trash then no one would have ever known. I’ve won a hat before at a governor dinner.
I think that the lady who found the ticket in the trash she be able to keep the money because she found it and nobody was thinking about until she had the money. The lady claiming the ticket threw it away and she shouldn't be able to get the money back. I think that Sharon Jones does have a good argument and that the judges would be stupid for making her give it back. I have won $2 dollars of a ticket one time.
Umm I really don't know who should win the $680,000,00 prize money, It's a hard decision that if it belongs to the person if it's still thrown away. I don't think the other party has a good argument, well she just threw the ticket away like that and you lose ownership of something when you throw it away. I have never won anything in my life.
I believe if you throw something away you give up all rights on it. so the Sharon Jones lady should be able to keep the money that she rightfully found. No, I think the other lady is full of crap she didn't care for the ticket until she found out it was a winner.
I think the women who found it won. Once a person throws it in the trash they don't own it any more. No because she throws it away in the trash. One mans trash is another mans treasure. I won 1 lottery was for a trunk full of fireworks for the 4th of July.

I'm not sure who should win the prize money but I think that if the woman did throw the ticket away then it should go to the woman who found it. Since the store had a sign above the trash can saying to help yourself to the thrown away lottery tickets the store should definitely not get any of the money. I think that the woman who found the ticket does have a good arguement. All of the other tickets that she has won money from has gone to her so why this one? People become greedy when it comes to money. I see both sides of the arguement but the woman who found it should be able to keep the money.
I think Sharon Jones should be able to keep the money since she found it because if the person wanting the ticket she shouldn't threw it away. Yes I do because it was in the trash and she should be able to keep all the money. No I haven't won anything that I can remember.
