Who's fault was this and why? Have you ever done anything stupid because you were on your cell phone? Have you ever seen anyone else do something stupid because they were on their cell phone?

I think it was the construction workers fault.Yes I have done stupid things while on the cell phone.I have also seen other people do stupid things while on the cell phone.
I guess it was the girls fault but to me there doesn't look like there is enough caution signs up for a sink hole. It would be different if there was like orange and yellow everywhere and it should have been taped off in my opinion. It is China however I don't exactly know how China works with their road blocks or whatever. I have missed a couple turns in my car because I was on my phone but that's about it. Who hasn't done something dumb when there on their cell phones.

Yeah that was the dumbest thing that i've ever seen somebody do because they where on the phone. I have never done anything that stupid because I was talking or texting on the phone. I have only seen people drive badly because they where on the phone, just because they are not paying attention.
Well I don't think that the hole was very well marked but she also wasn't paying attention. So I think they are both at fault. The other day when I was at Walmart I was walking while I was texting and I thought I was following my mom but when I looked up, it wasn't her. It was embarrassing because I was talking to her because I thought it was my mom.
It's the girls fault. She was glued to her phone and wasn't paying attention to what was going on around her. I can still see the world around me when I'm texting and/or talking on the phone so no I haven't done anything stupid while on the phone. I've seen plenty of people do stupid things while on a phone. I've seen people walk into one another and walk into poles, it's kinda funny how confused they look when they look up.

I think this was the construction workers fault, because they should've put something else around the hole so people wouldn't walk through it. I've done a lot of stupid things while I've been on the phone. It happens to everyone. Yes, I've also seen other people do stupid things while on their phone.
I think it's the girl fault. Why, because she should had watch where she was going. No I never done anything stupid because I were on my cell phone. No I haven't seen nobody do anything stupid while they is on there cell phone. That's it.

It's partly both parties fault because she could have payed more attention but it also could have been marked better. I have done stupid things on the phone many times. I see people do stupid stuff when they are on the phone all the time.
This is bad but funny! Where was this girl looking? I think texting while walking is totally different than talking while walking because when your texting you have to look at something and people run into poles or into mall fountains. When your talking you shouldn’t have anything to worry and you should be focusing on where you are walking but this situation could have been avoided if the construction company would have put up better markings. I wonder what she landed on?

Obviously it was the city's fault for not properly securing the sink-hole area. I can't think of anything stupid I've done from being on a phone. I have seen my friend walk into a stop sign because she was texting. Even if I wasn't on my phone, I probably would've kept walking like the girl was. The focus shouldn't be that she was texting, but rather that she was in an unmarked, dangerous situation.
It's the girl fault and the construction worker fault. It's the girl because she should've been paying attention. The construction workers also, because they didn't have enough signs around saying it was dangerous on that sidewalk. I have also fell a couple of times texting and not looking where I was going.
Now this is obviously the road worker's fault. It's not even properly marked. I feel bad for her. I've never done anything stupid while I was on the phone because I can multitask. I've never seen someone do anything so stupid while they were on their phone. Now I have.
I would say that this is the girl's fault. She should have been more aware but also the bad area should have been better blocked off. The only thing dumb I have done when I was on the phone was proceed to look for my phone while I was on it. I have seen people walk into walls while they were on the phone and not paying attention. People should be more aware when they are on their cellphones.

It was definitely her fault. She should've seen that there was a sinkhole. If she wasn't too busy on her phone she wouldn't have fell through there.

It was the girls fault because she was not paying attention. I have not done something stupid while I was on my cell. Yes everyone probably seen one person done something stupid while on there cell.

I think that it's not her fault. It doesn't look like there are any very clear markings to tell people to take caution. They should have blocked off that part of the sidewalk completely. I can't remember exactly what I've done when on the phone but I know I've done some dumb stuff like running into stuff or start talking to someone that I thought was in front of me but it being a stranger.

I think it was the construction workers fault since they had basically no warning. I have done some pretty funny things because i was texting while walking such as run into someone or run into wall!
I think it was the people who didn't put a caution sign or block it off. I haven't done anything stupid which I was on the phone. No, I haven't seen anyone one else do something stupid. I think that the construction people should be in trouble because they didn't block the danger zone off.
The sidewalks, the day before yesterday i saw this they said she was on her way to school when she fell it was caused by the cement being weakened by water. No, My friend almost threw her money away when she was talking on her phone with on the shoulder wrapper in one hand and money in the other(she wasn't paying attention).

I think that they have both faults to this. It's her fault because she was talking on her cell phone and walking and wasn't paying attention.
It was their fault because it wasn't marked really well. I mean it was marked, but anybody could have messed those little markings. I have hit my knee on the computer desk because I spinned around really fast while on the phone. That's about the stupidest thing I have done on the phone. I haven't seen anybody do anything stupid on the phone.
The construction people should have had that covered more. I'm glad people in china would stop. if that was in America no one would have stop to help.

I think it is the workers fault it should have been blocked off. I've never done anything stupid because of that. I saw my friend ride a bike with his phone and fell off.
I think that it was both the girl's fault and the construction worker's fault. The girl should have been paying attention but the construction worker should have had some rope or something around it so that people would know. I have not ever did anything stupid on my cell phone and I haven't ever seen someone doing something stupid on their phone but I know that there are people in the world who text and drive and end up crashing or something stupid and of that nature.
Personally i havent done anything like that while texting . That is very scary to watch . I hope that that never happens to me or somebody i love .

I have ran into things when I am on my phone or been looking for my phone while I was on it. I haven't really seen someone do something stupid because they were on their cell phone.
I believe it was mostly the construction workers faults. They should know that people are busy and they need to get from place to place. So they obviously are going to use their phone to figure out where to go or make plans. It's to be expected that people will text. The girl had no idea about the sinkhole because there was nothing to caution against it.
I don't think I've done something stupid while using my phone. It would suck if I did. And no, I haven't seen anyone do anything stupid while walking with their phone until just now.
Honestly I think it was the construction people's fault because it wasn't well blocked off. No I haven't. My brother use to drive with his knees because he would have a text.
