This was a clip from the 1999 movie "She's All That." Is this how you imagine prom night? Describe the ideal prom. Did you attend this year's prom? If so, was it everything you expected it to be? Why or why not? If not, how did you spend your weekend?

I don't go to a lot of parties so I don't have a set image on what a prom would look like. An ideal prom I guess would be just having a great time with your friends and date while wearing fancy clothes. No I did not attend prom this year. I didn't have the money to spend on it, things were tight this month. I spent my weekend relaxing and on Sunday I went skating and sprained my ankle. Kyle E.
Not really because im not going to prom this year or next year. No I didnt attend this year's prom. My weekend was exciting. I went to the beach with my boyfriend, my brother and his girlfriend. I hope the next weekend will be similar to this pass weekend. Jaquitta
I do imagine my prom being hype just like this clip, but not dancing like that. My ideal prom would be me in a great dress with my boyfriend and friends having memories. I didn't attend this year's prom. Instead I spent my Saturday at my track meet and Sunday went to church and chilled on the computer.
I don't imagine prom like that, only because no one dances like that anymore. I didn't attend prom this year. I spent my weekend helping my mom around the house and went and took family pictures.
Definitely isn't what I imagine prom to be. Ideal prom would just be good dinner before having fun with my friends then a good after party, no i didn't attend this years prom. I spent my weekend just hanging out Saturday then I went mountain biking all day Sunday.
I imagine prom night with loud music and stuff in this clip but that dancing was a little old timey. I haven't really made expectations for my ideal prom because I don't want to be disappointed or anything. I would want it to just happen. I didn't attend this years prom, instead I got my wisdom teeth taken out.
This is not how i imagine prom night. Prom night for girls and guys is very different. For girls, it's more stressful than guys. I did go to this years prom and i had a blast. It was everything i expected it to be and more.
Psshhh...I wish! The prom I went to was so fun! We had this competition for people who could really dance. It was like me, and four other people and we were all dancing on the same level, so the DJ just said we all won. It was just a place to have a great time. My favorite part was when they were announcing seniors and they made us meet them, because you get to meet new people.
No it is not how I would imagine prom even though it would be fun if everyone knew the same dance moves. Honestly I don't know how to describe an ideal prom because I don't really give prom much thought. No I did not attend this year's prom. I spent my weekend working.
Yeah this is how I always imagine prom night. The ideal prom is a lot of people dancing, and good music. I attended this year's prom. I think the dance off wasn't needed, Abram did amazing though. The music could've been better and not replayed. But I had a great time just because of my handsome date, and the people around me. Jessica Blythe

My weekend was good thou. I went shopping on Saturday and Sunday, me and Aaron went out to my dads house in Ocean View. We had a nice dinner with the family and then me and Aaron walked on the beach and found seashells.
I don't imagine my prom exactly like this. I do imagine my prom to have loud music, a lot of colorful lights, fancy dresses, and stuff like that. No I didn't attend this year's prom. On Friday, my friend and I had to go to my aunt's house because my mother had to work really late. Then Saturday, I had to bowl league then we went out to eat then to the hospital to see my nannie. Then yesturday, I had to bowl pepsi at Hanover lanes then we went to the hospital again to see my nannie. Overall, this weekend was really good. It was just too short.

Prom isn't like that, or atleast not anymore. People don't dance like that anymore, they just grind on eachother. Sometimes I wish prom were this way and not all just grinding all on eachother but no one knows how to dance anymore. I went to prom this year and I thought it was a blast. It was so much fun.
I imagine my prom hype like this better hyper and crazier. My ideal prom is a lot of dancing and great music, and just lots of fun. I did not attend prom though. I spent my Saturday out of town then stayed with Grandma and the Sunday I went to church and a double funeral.
My ideal prom would have to have a dinner out with friends. Maybe after dinner we could hang out at a pretty park and take pictures so we won't need to pay high prices for photographer-taken pictures. Then we would go to prom, dance all night and go to an after party afterwords. I didn't attend this year's prom. I spent my weekend with my Dad and family. Saturday we went to the Aquarium all day and ate out at Texas Road House for dinner. Then on Sunday I spent the day with my Dad and got a new desk for our computer room.
~Courtney This is not how I imagined prom because obviously no one put in the time or effort to practice a coreograffed dance. My ideal prom would be one where they played a lot of good music, and not any rap. Also, I'd appreciate it if everywhere I walked I wouldn't practically run into someone grinding on someone else. I did attend this years prom. It was everything I expected, because I knew it would not be my "thing", seeing as I don't like to dance. We left Prom and went to go bowling, but they wouldn't let us in because apparently they were closed. So we went to the Huddle House and played hide and seek in Walmart :)

Some movies make prom look so fun . This tear i heard it was very wack . I hope that my senior prom is like that . It looked so exciting . !
