I know, I know... two inspirational videos in a row. I'll have something different next week!
What did you think of the video? Did you learn anything from the video? Do you think the students at WHS treat people with "service" in mind, or do you think the students are more self-centered? If you were being truly honest with yourself, do you treat others with "service" in mind?

I thought this was a very emotional video. I learned from the video that even though you may feel as if you're having a bad day, it could always be someone who is struggling worse than you are. After seeing this video I am more motivated to really look into people instead of just forming an opinion from the jump. You never know why someone truly acts the way they do. It can be from prior experiences that molded them into the person they are today, you just have to be more compassionate and caring. LaTesha
I thought the video was okay. I'm guessing it's suppose to tell you that other people have problems, other then yourself. I think some students at WHS treat some people with service. Also some students are self-centered too. No, I really dont, but if they need help and they ask me then yea ill help, if they need it. Jaquitta
Danielle. I think the video was kind of confusing, because at first i dint know what was going on.From the video I learned that if I can help someone I will instead of just walking away or saying maybe they don't need my help.Yes, I think some kids at WHS treat kids with service at mind occasionally. However some kids are self-centered and don't care about others.Yes I do at times treat other with service at mind because I would wont others to do the same for me.
The video was an eye opener for those who don't always think about what someone is going through, but rather only care if they are negatively affected. I realized that not everyone is completely selfless, and that people are generally selfish in this day and age and only worry about themselves. I feel that students at WHS have a generally "serviced" mind, but of course this does not apply to everyone. With certain people you can tell where their heart is, and if they truly care about other people and worry about their problems. I think I'm rather biased in these matters, where I will be more concerned with the bigger picture if I'm a friend with someone, and less likely to worry about them if I don't know them or their situations. ~Courtney
This video was very touching and inspiring. It teaches that your not the only one in the world with problems. Everyone has problems just like anyone, and sometimes there problems are worse than whatever yours, mine or anyone's is. If I was being honest with myself I'd say I do forget often that I am not the only one who struggles with things and it makes me feel somewhat selfish and it's something I should work on. Many kids at WHS don't recognize these things either, many kids are more worried about what others think of them and being someone there not. Truely you have no clue how it makes that other person feel. Kids get picked on all the time in this school right in front of everyone and no one pays attention, almost like it's normal but in my opinion that isn't how it should be. Its easy to forget little things, but everyone should be a little considerate of everyone. People should stop judging each other based on what they wear and what they look like. Everyone deserves a chance. -Morgan Dee
I liked this video. People have problems they have to deal with everyday yet others see them as having a bad attitude. People shouldn't be judgmental until you really get to know the person and what they maybe going through. I have seen others in our school treat people they have never met, myself included, with kindness. Though I've also seen mean and distant people, they probably have there own issues and don't know what they should do so I can't blame them. I act distant and quiet too when I'm going through rough times. Knowing the feelings of being alone and feelings of sadness I could probably try harder to understand people and not be so quick to judge.
I think this is a great inspirational video because it gets others to realize that every person on Earth has difficulties in life too. The students at Windsor High School don't treat others with service in mind. They are very self-centered. They think that everything is about them and that they're the only ones who rule the world. Some people just need to think about others and realize the fact that there are many others out there who don't even have a place to live. I try not to be rude to others but there are times when "you just gotta do what you gotta do".
I think this video was very inspirational. Through the wonderful 4-h that I’ve grown up with they have always taught us about respect and helping others. I think a lot of students are self-centered because they thrive for attention and could care less for the non cool or non perfect people which is wrong. I always treat others with "service" in mind because my goal in life is to make everybody happy and I will be the first person to take up for somebody or be nice to a kid that others think are weird, also I will never say no to somebody if they want to hang out no matter who they are and what name they have from going to school. Everybody just needs a friend and somebody they can trust, they need somebody to call when their sad even if me and that person don’t talk all the time they will call and I will listen and try to help. Friends are very important in staying happy and if being a friend to people that really need it puts a smile on somebody’s face that’s all I care about.
I think the video was very sweet. I learned that you never know what someone else is going through. There's a reason for everything. You need to always be the nicest you can to everyone because they could be going through a really hard time. I don't think that the people at WHS treat people with "service" in mind. If I was really honest with myself, sometimes I can get off track and rude when I'm having a bad day but I know that I shouldn't because you never know. Thankfully I have my friends that keep me grounded and tell me when I'm being that way.
I think the video was very touching. I learned that when someone is having a bad day, always just show them you care or at least say something to make their day. I've always got taught to show people respect. I think WHS has some people that treat others with service and some don't. Some people are just all for themselves and they don't really care about other peoples feelings. I treat people with service because what if it was me in that position? I feel like you should always treat people like you would wanted to be treated. :)
I think the video was a very good way to open up peoples eyes. I learned to always give people the benefit of the doubt even when you are having a bad day because you have no idea what they are going through. I think some kids treat people with service in mind but definitely not all of them. If i was truly honest i would say i try to treat people good but I'm not perfect so no not always. Drew H
Awwwhh!! I thought that was really nice to take time out his day and go talk to the little boy. I also realize even when you are having a bad day lots of more people are having a worst day than you. So when you are having a bad day don't judge people because you don't know their situation.I personally think this was inspirational too. One reason is when you are feeling down think about the other people who lost a friend or even just got a divorced.
I thought the video was very inspirational and unique. I learned that you can't always judge a book by its cover because the man that was working at the shop looked like he was just a normal happy guy but come to find out he was an addict. In WHS there are people of both traits some people do know how to treat people with service and others just don't care. I do treat people with service every chance I get.
I try and always treat people with "service" in mind. I think students here have "service" in mind. When someone bumps in to me 8 out of 10 times, they say sorry or excuse me. Some don't but for the most part, people her are nice. You never know what someone has been through or is going through. I think all of us sometimes don't treat everyone with as much "service" in mind as we should. Treat others the way you want to be treated. :)
I thought that this video was very inspirational. It was a little cheesy but it definitely got the point across. I think that there are a few people at our school that treat people with "service" in mind but i think there are more who are self-centered. Sometimes we need reminders like this video to help us to not be all about ourselves. I try and treat others this way but I honestly can't say that it's all the time.
This video was very true it's sad that no one shows service in the world anymore. I learned that people need to care more and be more considerate of others and their behaviors because you dont know whats goin on in their life. I think people at WHS needs a lesson on how to treat people with service because windsor is all about drama and that just makes peoples lifes even worse then they may already be. I honestly do treat people with service in mind I mean I forget my manners sometimes buy majority of my time I do. I think everyone in this school should have to watch this video.
This video is a prime example of giving someone the benefit of the doubt. If you think your having a bad day just think of what the other person is going through. Sometimes you just have to sit back think about it could be worse and try to help others. Who knows just saying hey to someone may make their day batter. Be mindful of others.
The video was amazing, and reminds people to think about others before they say or do things. I learned not that I didn't already know but to be considerate of others. It's always nice to have a reminder and i'm glad i'm in here second so i will keep that in mind throughout today and hopefully the weekend as well. I don't think WHS students think of service. There are some good students but I feel like there is more bad in this school, and it's sad to feel that way but it is my opinion. I use to be bad about being kind to others but I think I have matured quite a bit and instead of high school being a negative toll on my life like some, it has been a positive toll. I definitely try my hardest such as even if student aren't my best friends I include them into my conversations and ask them about their weekends and consider them a friend. I can say others in this school need to see this video.
From this video I got a man whining about his problems when everyone else's were a lot worse and he realized at the end, his life isn't as bad as a lot of other people. I learned to not worry about my minor problems because some people have problems that are a lot worse. Some people at WHS treat others well but the majority don't they don't care about what is going on in your life. Honestly, I treat 90 percent of people well but I don't treat people I don't like well at all and I probably need to work on it.
I thought the video was very sweet . I learned you can't always judge people when you don't even know what's happening in their own lives. Some of the students can be self-centered but, more of the students do treat people with service in mind. Yes, I treat others with service in mind an also how I think about the things I say or do will effect them before I say or do anything.
I think this video was very motivating. I learned that when I'm having a bad day, their is somebody else that struggles with something everyday of their life. I think the students at WHS treat people with service, well the people I know and see do. Their is probably some people out their that are self-centered. They always say something nice or help with anything. Yes, I do treat people with service. I try to help people as much as I possibly can. If i can't help them at that moment or what they ask i can't do, i recommend somebody else or say sorry i can't help you with that. I treat others the way I want to be treated.
The Video was very inspirational. It shows how people can be inconsiderate to others just because they're having a bad day, even though some of the people you run into are having an even worse day than you. Some of the people at WHS are centered on only theirself and their friends and treat everyone else like dirt. But then there are the people that go out of their way to make everyone around them happy, even if it makes themself stressed out. I think that I do treat others with "service" in mind most of the time. -Josh Cutchins
I thought the video was really good. It just goes to show that even when you think your having a bad day, someone else's is a lot worst. At WHS I think we have both self-centered and people that do care about others. I'm by far not perfect but I do not bully kids and cant stand people who do. I try to make insecure people feel more confident but some just have the mindset that they aren't changing. ZACH CAHALAN
I think the video is very touching. I learn that people does certain things for a reason even though we don't understand why we should look at their point of view instead of ours. No, I do not think that WHS students treats people with "service" because some students just think about their selves, but not all. I think I do treat others with "service" when I see someone that needs it. I love to help someone that is in need because I know how it feel to be in need. It hurts me when I can't help someone even though I want to. If you see someone that need help, please help them because one day it might be you.
I think this video was very inspirational. It makes you want to go out and help others and encourage them to keep going day to day even when there at there worst. From this video I learned that I should be kind and courteous to others because I really don't know what they are going through. I think that if everyone not only at WHS but worldwide should treat there fellow man with respect. If the world was like that, then there wouldn't be as much violence and crime going on. Being truly honest, everyday is not going to go great so yes I tend to let my feeling get the best of me and I don't treat others with "service" in mind but once I realize that I was wrong I try my best to apologize and make sure that I'm not know as a bully or anything under those circumstances to others.
I think that this video is very influential. I learned that when you feel like your the only one having a bad day, others are to. Yea, I think the students here treat you with "service" in mind. I try to understand people.
If those glasses really did exist the world, much less this school, would be a much better place. It makes me realize that we are so busy that we never stop to smell the roses. Meaning that we are so focused on our life that we never take the time to stop and see a situation from someone else’s perspective. In our school we do have a large amount of people that do treat others with "service" in mind but I feel that there is a much larger group of people that don’t. I have been mean to someone without realizing it, but I am always trying to treat others with "service" in mind. People should always treat others with, not just service but cheerful service. The world would be a more progressive and positive place to live, but only if those glasses existed.
I think is great treating people with care. I learn about the video treating people with care mean the most to them. Some people need someone to care for. If I see someone feeling down or something is wrong with them. I will see whats wrong with them and see if I can help at anyway.
I believe that people never think of others first. I am the same way, it is much easier to look after yourself and worry with only 1 person than it is to try and make everybody in the world happy. This is something that everyone needs to work on, try to help others more and be selfish less. It is never easy to change the way you are on a day to day basis. but we should all try and help people everyday.
