My brother goes to UVA so I've heard of this event before. Hearing this just made me think that the murderer was really stupid. If it was the ex and it was over an argument he will get whats coming to him. I tend not to listen to gut feelings and use my head to work through things so I can't say if it was the ex or not because I don't have all the information. The victim probably was partially to blame because of the fact she was under the influence and most likely it affected her action. Just because this relationship obviously ended badly doesn't mean I'll give up trying to get one of my own.

Oh my goodness. No I have not heard of this story until now. This is crazy and heartbreaking. My gut feeling is maybe. All the signs are there, and I don't feel as if there was a true reason to do that to her. I do not feel as if she could be partially to blame for her murder because the doctor said mixing her Adderall and Alcohol had nothing to do with her death. This story makes me think twice about everything now. How do you know that your boyfriend isn't crazy? That's a scary thought, hope mine is not!

No i haven't heard about it yet but i have now. My reaction was shocked because it just surprises me how people do these things to other people. Yes I think it was the boyfriend because the doctors said that the level of Adderall could not have killed her and she died from blunt force trauma. No I don't think that it was her fault. It doesnt really make me think twice about dating just making better choices.
I think that her boyfriend killed her. I think that he was probably a very jealous guy that could have seen her talking to some male friend and took it the wrong way. This is just my opinion, and could very likely be wrong considering I do not know more information about the situation. I had not previously heard of the lacrosses player's death. I feel that the death of this young girl is especially tragic, because she was obviously trying to make something of her life by attending a supurb, historical university. I believe that the boyfriend could be the murderer, because he seems very non-chalant in the whole deal, and openly admits to hitting and potentially choking her. I think that the combination of Adderall and alchohol probably hindered her judgement, and played a role in the murder whether her boyfriend committed it or not. This makes me cautious of unfamiliar people, especially in college, but the issue of dating does not currently concern me right now, or in the near future.

I have heard this story on the news myself. My first reaction was the obvious sympathy i felt for the young woman who is now dead. Her life was just beginning. I can honestly say i don't know if her boyfriend is to blame or not. I don't know enough about him or her to make that assumption. Just because he is jealous, doesn't mean he is capable of murder. But on the other hand, maybe this time he was pushed over the edge. I cant say that she is partially responsible for her death because no one should suffer and die the way she did. However, she did put herself in a really bad position. This story does not make me think twice about dating because i am responsible. Don't get me wrong, EVERY teenager makes dumb decisions. Its how you learn from them, and make the decision not to let it happen again because some decisions are undo-able.

He should feel guilty about killing his girlfriend, especially with the details that describe the way she was killed. I've never heard this story before. This is absolutely crazy! I am so mad at that maniac. Of course it's his fault, knowing that he was last one with her. He says it himself that he shook her and grabbed her neck. If he can go that far, how can he not kill her? People are freaking crazy! The drinks has nothing to do with this story, because she didn't drink and kill herself. She was murdered. Whenever I hear stories like these, it freaks me out that someone has the guts to kill the person they used to date. It does scare me about dating, a lot.

I had not heard of Yeardley Love's death until today. I thought the boyfriend could've been to blame since she had cuts and stuff but then they said she had massive amounts of alchol and aderol in her system. So, I dont think he is to blame, I NEED TO HEAR HIS SIDE. So I can know if he sounds sincere, but if you have an high school love I could never imagine killing them even if I was angry.

No, I havent heard about her death. However, all the evidence is there that could support her boyfriend killing her. Evidence such as all the bruises, him admitting to grabbing her neck, dna under both of their finger nails. Since they were on and off again, I think that he may have gotten jealous over something that may have happened while they weren't dating. I think he did because he had her DNA under his names and she had his DNA under hers.
