What were your thoughts when you watched this video? Did this video make you feel more at ease or more in danger? Why? Do you have confidence in the government regarding our national security? Why or why not?
This video made me worried about my safety. This combined with the alert for Americans in Europe to look out for terrorist attacks make me down right worried. I have little faith with government security. There were hints that 9/11 was going to happen but the government ignored them. Look what happened. The government has made many enemies over the years and I’m afraid of who might hate us and wish us harm.
I’m surprised he only got 20 years. If a person is convicted of murder of one person they can get life but a terrorist only gets 20 years. How does that make any sense? It’s a great thing that the police were on the ball this time and caught him before anything bad could happen. However, the court system is failing, in my opinion, because there sentencing, in comparison to others, makes no sense.
My first thoughts are, how are you going try to blow up a building full of people, make comments about terrorism on the internet and try to apologize. This person is really stupid.I fell at ease because they caught him and now he is in jail. I do have confidence in our government because they do stop most of the terrorist actions in our country.
This video made me feel good that we caught a terrorist before they struck. Also, I see that they want another date to celebrate and I believe that they will plan another evil attack. The government, I think, is good at watching for mistakes. The muslims are good at hiding and would love to kill as many of us as possible. For our government to keep us as secure as possible, we need a spy or someone to find out information that they talk about one-on-one.

They had the means to stop this attack and we knew nothing about it. I’m sure they can stop another one if necessary.

This video showed that the government has terror plots under control because they were the ones who gave him fake explosives. The security requirements now are so high I believe that the government is ready for anything to happen. Being in the U.S. is now more safe to live in now and videos like this show why.
Terrorists really scare me to death. Honestly anyone who wants to do harm to innocent people whom have never done anything to them is sick in the head. The thought of terrorists in the nation makes me feel more in danger. This is because we never know what they are capable of or what they are planning to do. At some points I feel that our nation’s security is not strong enough but, at other times I feel that they are very good at catching the so called “bad guy”. I was surprised to hear about another terrorist plots again. This video puts me at ease to know that our government has things like this under control. I feel much safer watching this video to live in this country. For the agents to fool him into thinking he was going to successfully commit a terrorist attack and then arrest him for failing to do so is awesome. The Dallas incident definitely strengths my thoughts towards our governments ability being able to handle our national security.

I was shocked at first when I watched this video. This video made me feel more secure. After 911 our country experienced a shock. This video showed that we responded positively to it and made things different. Thought the world people, in this case terrorist, are trying to harm the USA. This video shows that we are ready and how much we have changed.

When everyone could be a terrorist or someone wanting to harm people, it’s good to know that the government can find them. This person is ridiculous, why would you choose to hit Dallas? I mean you could kill a lot of people but you are not hitting an icon like the previous attack. I feel more at ease watching this because the police and FBI knew about the plot the whole time and intercepted it. I have plenty of confidence in national security. Our government knows what is going on all the time even if they choose not to tell us anything.

Of course if something happens I know I will be scared but what can you do, constantly being afraid won't make your life anything but more complicated and stressed. Our national security is not very good. I believe that the terrorist should have received the death penalty. The man who tried to kill thousands of Americans will be free in 24 years. Anybody who tries to kill innocent Americans deserves to be killed. I hope that the terrorist dies painfully in jail.

I can't say that I do have confidence in the government and I can't say I don't. I say that because if our government was that protective then what happen on 9/11 wouldn't had happened. I wondered why any person would want to kill other people in such a horrific way. How could anyone hate say the things this man said?How he could want to hear a bomb go off that could have killed so many people. Also I wondered how he could not feel any guilt in wanting to kill so many people. This video made me want to dig a bomb shelter,that's what it did. It made me wonder if I will ever be safe from terrorists. I have confidence in the government,but I am unsure of how safe I truly am even here. I say this because this country has lost so many people already to terrorism. How can I not fear that I may be the next to be lost to the useless cause of terrorism? The answer to that is I can't. 9 11 to me is not just a day for remembering the lost to me. That day I lost one of my cousin's in that second plane. So that day to me is a horrific day to have to live through.
