Do you think bullying is a problem in WHS? Who do think bullies target the most and why? Is there anything that can be done to lessen bullying in schools and ultimately decrease the number of youth suicides? Have you ever been bullied?
Yes bullying is a problem in WHS, because people do commit suicide as a result of bullying. I think bullies target gay people the most because all you hear in the hallways is "your gay, get away from me." I don't think that there can be anything done because sometime you can't prevent what people say because adults aren't always there to prevent this. Of course not, I have never been bullied in my life.
I have not heard any serious cases of bullying in WHS. Bullies often target people who are different or have different views than them such as being gay. Bullying is a serious thing and should be seriously stopped. People have a right to be who they are without criticism from other people. I was bullied I my younger years but, it wasn’t as bad as others.
I do not think bullying is a pressing issue in Windsor High School. Yes, we have bullying in our school but I don’t believe that it is a major problem. I think bullies target people they believe are smaller than them in a physically and mentally. I’m not sure what we can do to stop bullying in schools. It is one of those things that has always been there and most likely will stay there. We possibly could educate the students more on this issue.
I don't really think that WHS has a lot of problems with bullying that I see. I think that bullies always target the weak. The weak consists of the gays, nerds, and skinny weak people. People are going to bully people no matter what a school tries to do. Children are going to kill themselves if they feel the need to. I think children who feel that way should talk to someone before they try to and look for help because not everyone is a bully. I think there is nothing to lessen bullying in schools until there are tougher punishments. I was not aware that people took their lives do to bullying. I have never been bullied sometimes what when you stick up to yorself, they try to be your friend.
I think this video fits today because today is suppose to be a day to wear purple in honor of the six suicides involving gay guys. In addition to this, Kesha has dedicated her newest song, “we are who we are” to these victims. I find it ridiculous that people are hurting people for their sexual preference. Who someone chooses to be with is their business and unless you’re interested in being with that person you shouldn’t care what kind of people they like. If you don’t like someone for something they do, believe in, or have a preference for then don’t hang around them. You can stay away but don’t go out of your way to make them feel horrible for being themselves.
WHS does have bullies, but most times it is caught in its early stages and worked out before someone gets hurt. I think that bullies target homosexuals and independent kids the most. The only thing that can be done is to make kids more aware of bullying and how to get an adult involved. I was bullied in elementary school, but they eventually left me alone once I stopped letting it bother me.

Bullying happens everywhere. I really don’t know about any bullying in WHS. As long as there is someone who feels that someone is different and needs to be picked on there will be bullying. To lessen the accounts of bullying we need to teach acceptance and tolerance. If someone’s bullying someone the punishment should be worse then a freaking slap on the wrist. I was bullied when I was young. I was the smart social reject, the perfect target. Now I’m taller, stronger, and down right scary looking so most people don’t mess with me.

A way to help prevent youth suicide could be talking about it more, showing young teens the damage it really does, and explaining that if you cause someone to kill themselves you have to live with that. No one wants to live with the guilt of causing a young child to commit suicide. I personally have never really been bullied, people joke around but that’s about it.

I think bullies target anyone who is the slightest bit different. I don't think there is anything authorites could do to STOP bullying but make these videos, tell stories, and list the numbers of problems from this. I have never been bullied, but it is a sad thing to hear of young adults killing themselves on a count of someone else hurting their feelings. I believe once people visually see what they are doing they won't feel so tough when they are beating someone or poking fun at them.

Not really here in Windsor High School. The only person I have seen bullied at Windsor for being gay is Matthew Burgess. I think that bullies target each other and quiet kids. I think that schools discipline against bullies. I have never been bullied.

To me it shouldn't really matter if anyone is gay or anything. Most people don't know what is going on in others mind but we should consider thinking about that.

There are lots of ways to reduce bullying and decreasing the number of youth suicides. People should form circles of friends or a friend that is there for them, and also and won't judge them. They should be able to talk with them at any time they're not feeling so great about a situation, and the friends should be able to listen to them. I've never been bullied before because I try to get along with anyone I come in contact with.

No I do not think anything can be done to lessen bulling. The only way to decrease the number of youth suicides is to not have any people around fat,gay,lesbians,or quite kids.That would be the only way to to decrease youth suicides. As a matter of fact I have been bullied. When I was younger I was bullied for being fat and for being quite. So I know what some kids go through that are bullied.
My thought when i watched this video was, how could someone do something like this? I feel less secured and more in danger after watching this video because the Muslim's ideas are getting better. And we dont really know their ideas until they're exposed. I have very little confidence in the government regarding our national security because they just don't know what they're doing at times. especially dealing with Muslim's.
