I was surprised when i heard about the terrorist plot. The security measures might help a little bit more. I think this because they are being more cautious. I think that the extensive body searches are gonna take longer to load everyone up. But overall it will prevent more attacks.

I thought that the Christmas terrorist plot was stupid. I couldn't believe they let him on the plane. I think these new security measures will help to prevent future terrorist attacks. They are an invasion of privacy, but they are only being done to protect us. I think the new security measures are great way to insure our safety.

Shock, that again there was another attempt to kill American lives. I think these measures may prevent some but not enough to make a difference because one death is the same a three hundred. I think they are good, being they may scare more terrorist into coming in the first place. From what I understand there is a new full body scanner that may be put in US airports. I think this could help us prevent so fatal deaths.

I was shocked that people would do that. I think these new security measures will prevent most of the future terrorist attacks. I also think that we don't check closely enough. We like to get lazy and that's what causes terrorist to get by and attack us. I think it's needed and it will help prevent some of the terrorist from attacking. I also think it is a violation of private, but hopefully it will work.

I was shocked to hear what took place over Christmas break. It makes me mad how slack the security has become. They have to wait for something really bad to happen for the security to tighten up. I sure hope the new measures will prevent future terrorist attacks. I feel that they should have started these extensive searches a long time ago. It should immediately began right after the 9/11 incident.

I was shocked that its still going on now. Christmas is such an important holiday and everyone is gonna be flying everywhere. No, I don't think that they will pervent them because people will find other ways to do things. I think its a good thing but I believe that they are a little to much for people to have their own privacy. That they shold atleast have a x-ray machine.

It was no surprise to hear about it, sad truth, but not a surprise. They should, but to only check a few people will not help, they need to check everyone. Some people are slick, they can get through the security checks. I think the new searches will help prevent terroist attacks. People wont be able to hid bombs in there clothing and or bags.

I was angry when I heard about the attempted terrorist attack. I really think the new security measures installed on the airports will help reduce Muslim terrorist attacks. The body searches will help, too. Between the new technology, and the pat-downs, I think no terrorists will get through.

It's really terrible that someone would try to do something like that. The new security measures are a good thing. I think that they will prevent future terrorist attacks because more people will be less likely to even try it when they know that there is more security now. I think that the extensive body searches are good too because they are more likely to find it if someone has something on them.

I just heard about it for the first time today on the the radio. I was shocked when I heard about it because no one expects something like this to happen. I'm so happy that it didn't happen, but it's a scary thing knowing that it could have. I think that the new security measures will provide more safety for our nation but I think that everyone should have to go through it. There shouldn't be any exceptions for anyone. I know that people are going to continue to make terrorist attacks but I'm not sure what will prevent them the most. I think the extensive body searches will be a very good thing. It may seem a little personal or over the top, but it's obviously necessary.

It is really good that our security system has cracked down on the way that they check people. It seems weird for someone the pat you down from head to toe but it's for our safety. I believe that it will help prevent attacks to a certain point. We as the United States will always have to be prepared. All of the new searches are necessary.

It was very shocking when I read about this attack in the Daily-Press. I hope and pray that these security measures will prevent future terrorist attacks. It is hard to say but they need to search people from the Middle East before they board an airplane. I support the new extensive body searches at airports. It is important to protect citizens.

When i first heard about the attack i just thought about how harder it will be getting on planes. However, it most likely will help prevent future terrorist attacks. Having being serched from head to toe you will most likely find something that isn't supposed to be there. I don't care for the body searches, it makes me feel like I am in jail. However, i can deal with it. -Alia H.

My first reaction when I heard about the terrorist plot that almost took place during Christmas was Jesus is the reason for the season. I don’t think that the new security measures will prevent future terrorist attacks, because the terriost no what we are doing so they will try to find ways to go around it. The new extensive body searches that will take place at airports are safe and secure. They are really trying to find a way to keep us safe. I think that if we just leave them alone than they will leave us alone.

Well to be honest I really didn't here about the attempt terrorist plot until today. I think that the airport security are doing a good job trying to stop terrorist attack. But I really do think that the terrorist are going to find a way to get passed airport security. I think that the intense body searches are good in a way but then not. Some people feel like you are invading there privacy. But the way I see it is I would rather someone to invade my privacy than Die.

This "Christmas Plot" was not that surprising... These new security may help, but terrorists already find away around everything. Terrorists are full-attack teams, they will fight to death if they have to. These new searches maybe suitable, but also for some people they may think it is invading privacy. But right now we should take every precaution we can...

That is so wrong, not only because it's a terrorist act but on Christmas? Really? I think the new security measures will help but not totally prevent it. You can never stop all of it I think. I think the searches are a good idea and like if I had to get patted down with everyone else to ensure our safety, I don't mind it. It would be ridiculous to have something like that happen on Christmas.

My reaction to the terrorist plot was kind of blank because it was just the stupidest plan I ever heard of. They should if the people who are in charge of them do their jobs right. I don't use airports so I'm alright with the new, extensive body searches. Besides it can actually make it a little safer to fly. So I hope it works. James St. Peter

I was kind of shocked. I don't get why people want to terrorize others. It just doesn't make sense to me. I'm not sure about them working. I hope they do, though. I don't want any innocent people getting hurt. I feel very good about them. I like the idea that they'll be more thorough with the bodily checks.

The terrorist plot that almost took place during Christmas was absolutely crazy. We should have checked him considering he warned us of what was going to happen. If they keep searching people the way the are it could possibly prevent future terrorist attacks. If our airports only do every other person then no it will not be successful. I think it is very intelligent that they decided to start extensive body searches.

I can't believe that that man did that. It's awful to try to kill a plane full of people. They do need to check people like they are now because people will do anything. It'll be weird to have them people see them naked, but extreme times call for extreme measures. People are crazy.

I think that it is ridiculous that this happened around Christmas. Airports should be most secure during the holidays because there is more chaos. I believe that this will help prevent terrorist attacks but I do not think that it will stop them for attempting to attack. I am a little scared about the new searches because I do not want so pervert feeling all over me. Although it is a great idea... just hope I get a woman.

I was shocked when I heard about the terrorist plot that almost took place during Christmas. If the bomb on the plane would have went off a lot of people would have been killed. I think the new security measures will work. If they check every passenger that will ride the airplanes I do not think there will be anymore problems. I think the searches are neccessary because people will hide things all over their body.

I was really shocked that someone did during Christmas. I can't believe that Muslim people want to blow up America. I believe that these measures will stop attacks for a little while until terrorists can figure out how to get around them. The body searches will probably help but many people will still try to get around it. I hope that one day people will be able to get along one day.-Nick Powell™

I thought it was pretty pointless. I think a bombing would have been more effective on Christmas Eve. I doubt they will even do much about it. I don't see why we have to be such an open minded country. I understand it is racist to discriminate based on how a person looks, but if I see a Muslim getting on a plane with me I'm turning my butt around and getting off.

I hadn't heard that this happened. Now that I have heard of it, I am a little scared. No one is ever going to be safe. Trust no one! I don't think no matter how hard the government tries, the terrorists are always going to find someway to smuggle in bombs and stuff. I feel a little uncomfortable about it, but if it protects me than it's okay.

I thought the man that put a bomb in his pants was really crazy. I do think that the security measures will last for a while, but later on people are going to figure out a new way to smuggle things in. I think it wont last very long because technology is advances everyday in the streets, but the government is slow with releasing technology that can keep us safe. I honestly don’t mind the new extensive body searches, if it keeps us safe.

I thought the guy who did it was crazy!I really hope that it will prevent future terrorist attacks. It's crazy what people do to bomb America. I really don't care because I'll never go to a airport. I don't fly.

I can't believe that we would let this guy actually get on a plane. I understand if we had no idea that he was that type of person, but we were warned about this guy. I'm not sure weather this thing will work or not but i do think it's a good idea. I think if it does work it's well worth it. I'm not saying I like the idea of the search but if it saves lives why not.
