Have you heard about this earthquake before now? Describe your reaction to the earthquake's aftermath. Do you think the U.S. should help Haiti, one of the poorest countries in the world? I heard about this this morning. I think we should help but not through giving money. The reason why that country is so poor is because the leaders are so greedy that they don't distribute the money required.
No I haven't heard of this until now. I'm shocked to hear about so many deaths. I don't know how the relation with the U.S. and Haiti is so I’m not sure if they should help. I have been in an earthquake before but nothing compared to that. I would choose a tornado, not sure why but I feel like I would be better off with a tornado then any of the other natural disasters.

I first heard about the earthquake this morning when I was about to leave for school. The earthquake was very destructive to have only lasted a minute. I think the U.S. should help Haiti since it is one of the least fortunate countries. I have never been in an earthquake, tornado, or tsunami. The only severe storms that I have withstood are hurricanes.

No, I have not heard about this earthquake before now. The aftermath is very scary. It's hard to believe how much damage an earthquake can do. I think the U.S. should definitely help Haiti. How could you not help such a poor country that just got hit by an earthquake? No, I fortunately have not been in an earthquake. If I absolutely had to choose I would say a hurricane. There have been some mini hurricanes around Windsor, so I have somewhat experienced it.

I did hear about the earthquake this morning. I though it was very sad and unexpected. Also, I though it was sad that even the hospital collapsed on the people. I really do think the U.S. should help out. We have the resources to help out to. I haven’t ever been in an earthquake before and I think God that I haven’t. If I had to pick to which one to withstand it would be blizzard because after it there is not much damage and I can go play in the snow. –Alia H.
I heard about the earthquake this morning. Well i think this incident is very scary. I do believe that the United States should help Haiti. When you know someone is in need of help I believe you should help them. The only earthquake I have been apart of was this ride at Disney World. If I had to withstand one natural disaster it would be a hurricane.

Yes I did, I was watching it in burger king. I think that its scaring that people have to go through that and don't even know that it happened. Yes, because they may be the poorest country but they do have people over there like us and need as much help as they can get. No, I haven't been in a earthquake. Well I have been in almost 10 Hurricans and one tornado, and they could be the only one I could stand. They make me so nerves and its scary to have to be in any typw of disaster.

I had not heard of the earthquake before now. In one minute alot of damage was done. I would never ever want to be in an earthquake. We really can't afford to help Haiti, but they need someones help, so we should assist in getting them back on their feet. They are already poor, and not as lucky as some, why make them suffer more. I have never been in an earthquake. I have withstood a couple of tornados, however when hurricane Isabel came I left.

I just heard about this earthquake this morning when I was listening to Z104. I thought it was a disaster, especially when I heard about the hospital collapsing. I think we should help out Haiti a little bit. Even though we are among the world's superpowers, we should still help the poor countries. I have never been in an earthquake before. I would have to say hurricane, bacause I have already been through 2 hurricanes in my lifetime.

I haven't heard of any earthquakes before now. It's a scary thing to see such a disaster happen. I couldn't imagine going through an earthquake. I definitely think that the U.S. should help Haiti. If something like that would happen to us, we would like for someone to lend a helping hand; so I think that we should do the same thing. If I would ever have to go through one natural disaster I would have to choose a hurricane. They seem the least dangerous and the ones we've been through here haven't been as server as earthquakes and tornadoes.

Before now, I have not heard about the earthquake. I was shocked that it caused so much damage. I think the U.S. should help Haiti because it is one of the poorest countries in the world. The U.S. says it’s a nice country. That’s why they should help. They need to be generous. I have never been in an earthquake before. If I had to withstand one natural disaster, it would be a hurricane because it seems like the one that doesn't cause that much damage.

I hadn't heard about the earthquake until today. I think that what happened is really scary. I do think that the United States should help Haiti. No, today is the first time that I have heard of this earthquake. The earthquake is very scary. Yes,it is a good thing the the United States is helping Haiti. Helping them will help show the good in the United States. No, I have never been in an earthquake and I hope that I never will. If I had to pick a disaster to withstand I think I would pick a hurricane. I really don't know why I picked a hurricane. I have never really been in a big natural disaster but have experienced being in hurricane.

I feel real sorry for them about there earthquake. It was alot of people getting kill on that earthquake so I hope they will be alright I know alot of people got hurt on that earthquake because that is a really bad earthquake for them at the hosital. No, I haven't feard about the earthquake. Wow, those pictures are so crazy, I don't know what I would do if that was me and my house. I think the U.S. should help them as much as we can without putting us in any more debt than we are already in. No, I have never been in an earthquake. I would choose a hurricane because I have already did that and even though a tree fell on my house it wasn't to bad because no one got hurt.

I heard about the earthquake earlier today. It is sad that a massive earthquake hit one of the poorest countries in the world. The U.S. should help out because we always try to be the world police and this is our chance to help. This is the first I've heard about this earthquake. I believe its frightening to millions of people and probably makes people reconsider where they live. I think the U.S. should mine their own business. We have nearly no reason to help them. I myself have never been in an earthquake, but I assume its quite scary. I personally love being in hurricanes.
I did not hear of the earthquake in Haiti. My reaction to the aftermath of the earthquake is not really anything unusual because earthquakes are naturally disastrous. I had not heard about the earthquake until I saw this video. I think it's very sad that all those buildings were torn down and the people were hurt. I do think that the U.S. should help Haiti because they are so poor. I have never been in an earthquake before. I heard about this earthquake today in second block. I feel really bad for the people at Haiti. The US should definitely help Haiti. They can't really help themselves so we need to. I've never been in an earthquake. I choose a hurricane or blizzard because we can sort of plan for them.

Yea I have heard about it this morning on the way to court.(lol)I was very shock when I had heard about it big time it made me feel really down. Yes I think we should help them because they will not have anything at this time.No I haven't but I would like to because to see how it feel without anyone getting hurt. This was the first time I herd about the earthquake. It's so hard to believe this, I guess because I've never seen or actually experienced it. I feel so sorry for all these people, a lot of people were hurt and all those people have nothing to look back on. I do think we should help them in some kind of way. I have never been in a earthquake or even hear about one near us. I think the natural disaster I would choose would be a hurricane only because they can find out when a hurricane is coming and you could either plan or leave the area.

Yes I heard about this before now, I actually heard about it yesterday, but didn't think it was really serious. I just think this is an earthquake just normal, I don't really think a lot about this. I think the USA should help Haiti, because it's the right thing to do and it may make us look better. I have been in two earthquakes but they were really small tremors. So, it wasn't that bad. If I had to withstand a natural disaster I would want to be in a blizzard. I love cold weather and snow. That's just my opinion.

I had not heard about the earthquake. The earthquake's aftermath was definitely devastating. I do think the U.S. should help Haiti. I believe we should because if we were in that situation we would want someone to help us. I have not been in earthquake. I would choose to be in a hurricane. Hurricanes can do severe damage but at least you can plan for it. No one knows when an earthquake will happen.

I had not heard about the earthquake until now. I haven’t really been keeping up with the worldly news. The earthquake after math is horrible. There’s like deep wholes in the ground. I think the U.S should help Haiti because it would be the right thing to do. I think they should help because it is the poorest countries, and we are one of the riches. Even if the U.S doesn’t them as a whole, we should do our best as people to help them out. I have never been in an earthquake. If I had to withstand a natural disaster it would be a blizzard, because snow can’t really damage your house as much as a tornado or hurricane could.

I had not heard about this earthquake until today and it is a sad situation. I think that the aftermath of the earthquake was what shocked me the most. It almost made me want to cry because no one deserves to suffer this much. Although the U.S. is suffering a recession, with all good you do comes a blessing, so I think we should help. I have never been in an earthquake and I do not think that I ever want to be in one. If I had to withstand a natural disaster, it would be a tornado. Tornadoes are known to skip around, then may cause a lot of damage but, what if hit the entire country and skipped 6 states wouldn’t that be better then being completely wiped out be a tsunami?

I heard talk earlier about it today. I think that was a tragedy I would never want to experience. I don't think that United States should help Haiti. The reason why I think we shouldn't help them out is because we have our own problems. If HAD to pick a natural disaster it would be a hurricane because at least you can prepare for it.

Yes I heard about this earthquake before it even accured. The lady on the news had said something about some type of activity due to an earthquake about to accur in Haitis. Yes, I believe that the U.S. should step in and help Haitis just as much as we helped the people affected in Hurricane Katrina.
