Rihanna Speaks Out
Are you a fan of Rihanna? What about Chris Brown? Do you think it was wise for Rihanna to speak out about what happened? Why or why not? Would Rihanna's decision to continue to date Chris Brown after physical abuse affect your decision whether or not to continue an abusive relationship?

I wouldn't necessarily call myself a fan of Rihanna or Chris Brown. However, I do think Rihanna is beautiful and a great entertainer, and I think Chris Brown is a great dancer and performer. Rihanna was wise to speak out about what happened between her and Chris Brown. Many young girls look up to celebrities, especially an international superstar like Rihanna. Maybe Rihanna will save a young girl's life simply by telling her story. I also think that this gave Rihanna a chance to set the story straight. I wouldn't stay in an abusive relationship regardless of Rihanna's decision. However, I honestly don't think anyone knows exactly how they would react to a particular situation until they actually face it.
I am not a fan of Rihanna, however there are a few songs that are okay. I use to be a huge fan off Chris Brown. They were both wrong, I dont think that either one of them should be speaking of it, they should just let it go. They were both in the wrong. I dont think that it would continue in an abusive relationship. I also dont think they should continue to date, obiviously they are not right for each other.

It's sad that she had to go through an abusive relationship and I feel for her. I've gone through several. Frankly, to me, it's just something else to get over. There doesn't have to be all these interveiws and special treatment. It is very common and she is no different than the rest of us. It's stupid that she got back together with a guy who beats her. If she chooses to be with someone she knows will hurt her she has dug her own grave.
I know of both of these talented people, I don't listen to them on a regular basis. Being that if one of there songs are on the radio and I like it I’ll listen to it. I think for the most part the conflict is over between them so speaking out about it shouldn't be an issue. I think if you can hit a person once it's possible for it to happen again, so I would advise her to get back together with Chris. However sometimes love tends to blind the views of the common sense.

I would consider myself a fan of Rihanna and Chris Brown. I think it was wise for Rihanna to speak out about what happened. What happened to Rihanna was a horrible thing. I would never stay in a relationship if I was abused in the relationship. Never could I go on having my boyfriend hit me.

I wouldn't consider myself a fan of Rihanna or Chris Brown, but I do like their music and other stuff. Rihanna has great music and Chris Brown can dance pretty well. I think she was wise to speak about what happened because she has a lot of children looking up to her. Since she did that, most of the others would think it would be okay as well. I don't think her decision would affect me because I wouldn't stay in a abusive relationship. This reason being, I do not want to be beaten on at all.

I listen to Rihanna and Chris Brown's music, but I'm not really a fan. It was wise for Rihanna to speak out because she is setting an example for young girls. I don't think that Rihanna's decision to continue to date Chris Brown would affect my decision. Some people watch the celebrities and try to act just like them; therefore they are the people whose decision she would affect. There are nice people in the world, so people should look for others that make them happy and treat them right.

No I am not a fan of her. I love Chris Brown to death I am a devoted fan. No I do not think it was wise because if she isn't going to tell the whole truth she shouldn't say nothing at all. She is making her self look stupid because its been dropped and no one really talks about it anymore. No I could care less what she do I know what not to do and to do I know not to go by every one else relationship. It was her stupidity not noone elses, because she must not have felt bad if she got back with him. Chris Brown is a sweet guy and it very generous and no one girl will ruin his reputation.

I only know one song by Rihanna, I'm not a big fan. I think that it was a good thing for her to speak out about what happened so that people would know her side of the story and how she felt. Honestly everyone is different and have different limits. Her decision to stay with Chris Brown wouldn't effect mine because were two different people. I don't think that I could stay in an abusive relationship. Then again, love can make you do crazy things.

I was a Rihanna in my younger years. I have always been a Chris Brown fan, and I always will be a CB fan. I think Rihanna should have spoken out. I think staying in an abusive relationship is wrong. So I wouldn't stay in an abusive relationship.

I use to be a fan of Rihanna when she first hit the music scene. I am a fan of Chris Brown. I am also a relative of Chris Brown. He is my second cousin. Well if she felt like they where truly in love she would have taken him back.

I really wouldn't consider my self a fan of Rihanna but I do like some songs that she sings. On the other hand I am a huge fan of Chris Brown(he is my husband). I really don't think it was wise for her to speak on the situation because it happen so long ago that its really no need to speak about it. To be honest I wouldn't stay in an abusive relationship because I don't think that a man should put his hands on a woman.

Yes I am a fan of Chris and Rihanna. It is wise for her to speak up about what happened because her story could touch a young girl and change the way they live and whether they stay in an abusive relationship. No, I feel that it’s really up to the person. If someone is really in love and something happened and it got physical then they might consider taking them back. It’s different when someone is in a relationship and the love is not strong and they are just with the person and it gets physical. Yes I believe that Chris was wrong for hitting her but we being the public we don’t really know the whole story about what went on we can only go by what we hear.

I am a fan of both Rihanna and Chris Brown, but i think what happened with them is terrible. I agree with Rihanna about speaking out about what happened with her and Chris. It obviously was hard for her to talk about it since it took her so long, but I think by her speaking out that it shows girls that being in an abusive relationship isn't right. I think that her not getting back with him was a good choice and also shows people not to continue an abusive relationship.

I saw her picture on the computer and It was honor I just could not believe it. Yes, I am a fan of Rihanna and Chris Brown. I don’t think that it was wise for Rihanna to speak out about what happened, because it gave the media more to talk about and started more commotion. As she mention numerous of times in the video that she was an in love. Love itself is blind; love can make you do something that isn’t right but to you it may look right. When you’re in love with someone it’s not easy to let them go. You always find a way to forgive them.

I am a huge fan of Rhianna. I am also a fan of Chris Brown, I have all of his cd’s. I do think it was a good thing for her to speak out, because now people finally know the truth and can just leave the whole situation alone. Another reason I think it was a good reason for her to speak out because her cd is about to come out and that gave her a lot of publicity. If Rhianna would have stayed with Chris, it would not have affected weather or not I stay in abusive. Rhianna has her own feelings and I have my own feeling, but I personally would never stay in an abusive because you never know when the abuser will go too far.

I am not a fan of Rihanna, but I do think she makes great music and has a wonderful voice. Personal I do not think that she should have spoke out on it because it only gives the media more to elaborate on. No one deserves to be in an abusive relationship, man or woman. If she were to decide to continue to be with him than that her but I do not think I would be able to look at him the same. It would not change my decision at all, why would I go be in an abusive relationship because of her. No offense but she is no one special to me.

I am a fan of Rihanna but not as much as I am of Chris Brown. I was a really big fan of Chris Brown until I heard about what happened to Rihanna. I do think that It was wise for Rihanna to speak out about what happened because thats what we need for people to do more of now-a-days is speak out about what happens to them instead of keeping silent. It's really her decision and I think that Rihanna and Chris Brown we're a really cute couple. I'm not really a fan about Rihanna or Chris Brown. The reason I'm not a fan is because I don't really listen to pop or R and B. Rihanna's decision to continue to date Chris would never affect my decision to leave an abusive relationship. I don't know any one that it would affect either because most of people I know are independent thinkers. I don't like either of them. I think its a good thing that she came out with what happened. You shouldn't keep things like that secret. Abuse is NOT a good way to treat your boyfriend/girlfriend. Her decision doesn't really affect what I think I would do in that type of situation.

There's very few songs of hers that I like, but I don't like Chris Brown. In a way, I think it was wise for her to speak out, and get the whole thing off of her chest. I also think she did it so the reporters would leave her alone about the whole thing. She really loved him and wanted to give him another chance to see if it would happen again. It's hard for me to make a decision, because I've never been in an abusive relationship.
No I am not a fan of either parties. They are both great at what they do I am just not a fan of them. I am not to judge if it was wrong or right for her to speak out. It was her choice to do that. No it wouldn't. I would never abuse or cheat on my girlfriend or my wife on purpose for no reason, only self-defense. So they would not affect my decision at all...

I like Rihanna and Chris Brown, but I've never been a huge fan of them. It was smart for Rihanna to speak out, but only if it's the complete truth. Girls need to be aware that guys sometimes will hit them. If she would have stayed with him, I wouldn't have followed her example. I wouldn't respect her as much anymore, though.

I am a fan of Rihanna and Chris Brown. I personally think that she was wise for speaking out about what happened. She should be able to tell everyone what happened so the rumors will stop and people and fans will know the true story not what they hear. I understand if your in love and you don't want to loose it but I really would not date him again after all the physical abuse. Her decision does not effect my decision to continue in a abusive relationship. If I'm with a guy who is physically abusive than I would break up with him. I'm sure that it is hard but you have to wonder if he did it once he can do it again.

I am not personally a fan of Rihanna or Chris Brown. I think it was wise for Rihanna to speak out because it will help her to get over it and not keep it bottled up. It would not affect my decision based upon their relationship status. I do not think that what Rihanna said is actually true. I am a fan of both Rihanna and Chris Brown. I think it was okay for her to speak out about what happened, but I don't think we should judge him or her until we here both parts of the story. No one will effect my decision to stay in an abusive relationship.

I would not consider myself a fan of Rihanna but she is okay. I am a fan of Chris Brown though. I do think it was wise for Rihanna to speak out. After her attack I did not think she would ever accept a interview because of embarrassment.
Rihanna's decision is her decision but I am not going to stay in a abusive relationship so her decision would not effect mine.

I am a big Rihanna and Chris Brown fan, and when I first heard this I was shocked. I think its a mixed situation, I don't think the whole story is completely out yet, but I don't really think it's anyone's business. I don't think he just went over and hit her, even though either way none of it was right. No matter what Rihanna does in her relationships that wouldn't change my mind about what I do in mine.

I am not a fan a huge fan of Rihanna, but I like of her songs. I used to big a BIG fan of Chris Brown! Although, after the incident I haven't really paid attention. I do not think it was very smart for her to speak out about what happened because that will stir up the media. Her decision hasn't really effected my choice. I know I would know what to do because I am not in a abusive relationship.
