Letterman is just another human being just like the rest of us. I would hate to be a celebrity and have people follow me all the time, worrying about what my family and I are doing. You're private life is ment to be private. I don't care what David Letterman does and I'm sure he doesn't care what I do in a private life.

I have seen the show a few times. I am not a fan of Letterman. I do not feel sorry for him, he should have kept his business to him self. I would not want to live a celebrity life anyways, to have to money they have would be nice, but I don't want my whole life in the news and on tv. It cause more problems in the families in todays celebrities.

No personally I don’t look at the David letterman’s late night show. No I really don’t feel sorry for him being that he was married and this means that he cheated on his wife. Yes I believe that I would still be willing to live a celebrity lifestyle. Being a celebrity comes many challenges. Still I think that one should still show common sense. What he did was just wrong and should not be acceptable.

I have seen the late show with David Letterman. I seen it every once in awhile, but I am really not a fan of it. In my opinion I do not feel sorry for Letterman because I don’t think that the situation is that big of a deal. He admitted to what he did, and personally I think that it isn’t anybody else’s business. I would be willing to live a celebrity lifestyle because everyone knows and talks about celebrities. I would rather sacrifice the gossip and be known and be a celebrity.

I have watched David Letterman's late night show before, but not on a regular basis. Some of his jokes are funny, while others are just stupid. I do feel sorry for him because his personal business was made public. The celebrity lifestyle definitely has its ups and downs. The money and fame that goes along with being a celebrity, is also accompanied by responsibility and a lack of privacy.

Yes, I have seen the Letterman show. I wouldn't say I'm a fan because I hardly ever watch it. I do feel sorry for Letterman because that's his business and shouldn't be put on the news like that. I would never be willing to live a celebrity lifestyle. I wouldn't like people talking about me all the time. Plus, I would have to watch every move I make.

I have seen the Late Show and I am a fan of David Letterman. I do feel sorry for him. But at the same time I think he shouldn't have cheated on his wife. Yes, I would be willing to live a celebrity life. Because celebrity's have the best cars, the most money, and the best stuff all around. But then again, my life is good the way it is now and I don't want a good thing to be ruined.

Yes I have seen the David letterman late night show, however I’m more of a Jay leno person. Stuff like that happens to people seen on TV all the time, so I don’t really feel sorry for them. Also i think it comes with the job. I would take the risks of being a celebrity at the cost of what could happen, I think it would be worth it.

Actually no I haven't seen that show before and I am not a big fan of it either. I do feel sorry that it happened to him. That is a scarey thing to happen to a person. I would like to live the life of a celebrity because they are human just like us and yes it maybe a little bit more dangerous but becoming one you have to take the things that comes with it. No body is perfect and just because they are celeb don't mean everyday things wont happen to them.

I am a fan of David Letterman's late night show. I watch his show every chance I get. I am a fan because I enjoy the his comedy routine. If I were a celebrity, I would imagine my life to be very simple. I would not buy the expensive cars and the expensive clothes like other celebrities.

No I haven’t every seen he David Letterman’s late night show. No, I am not a fan of David Letterman. Yes, I do however feel bad for him. Being blackmail isn’t pleasant and can be very dangerous thing. No, fame and fortune isn’t everything especially if it put you and your family in danger.-Alia H.

I've never seen David Letterman's late night show so no I'm not a Letterman fan. After hearing about this I probably wouldn't be a Letterman fan anyways. I don't really feel sorry him, he shouldn't have had affairs with women on his staff if he didn't want people to find out. I do feel sorry for him though that he was being blackmailed. I wouldn't really want to live a celebrity lifestyle, a lot of the time it doesn't seem all that great and everything that happens in their lives are known by everybody.

I don't watch late night television, but I have heard of David Letterman. After hearing about the situation, I don't feel sorry for Letterman. He made a decision, and now he's got to face the consequences. I do think that he handled them well. I think that as a celebrity you should know that people are watching your every move and that's just something that comes with the job. You have to make wise decisions, and he didn't. I wouldn't want to have to live like that.

I have heard about the David Letterman’s late night show, but I haven’t seen it. I’m not a Letterman fan, but I do feel sorry for Letterman in some ways. One reason why I feel sorry is because he has to find ways to protect his family. He has been through a lot with his family and with him being famous it makes it worse. In some cases I don’t feel bad because he cheated on his wife. That was a mistake that he made so he should deal with the consequences of it. I would be willing to live the celebrity lifestyle. Your lifestyle is only what you make it.

No, I have never seen the show. No, I'm not a Letterman fan, because I don't like those kind of shows. No, I don't feel sorry for Letterman, he had a wife and kids and cheated on her. I would be willing to live a celebrity lifestyle because I wouldn't be cheating on my husband.

I have not seen David's show at all, and not I am not a fan and I'm proud of it... I don't feel sorry for him at all, because he's married and actually admitted it on live TV, also he totally exposed his staff... Even without David I still would not like to be a celebrity at all. I hate drama and all that stuff that are lies. That is why I could not be a celebrity... That's pretty much why I do not want to be a celebrity at all...

I have never seen the David Letterman’s show, so there for I’m not really a fan. I do not feel bad for David because he knew what he was doing, and he knew the risk factors of sleeping with women that he worked with. Also because he knew it was dangerous for him to do that, because he’s not just a regular person, is works in the media. I would like to live a celebrity lifestyle because I know how to stay to myself, and I know not to do things to draw attention to themselves.

I've never seen his late night show, so I'm not really a fan. I feel sorry for him because being a celebrity is obviously hard. It'd be really creepy having somebody stalking me. I still would want to have the celebrity life, but just for a day to experience it. It'd just be fun to do it for a while to see how it is.

I have not really watched this show before, I don't often watch late night shows. I don't exactly consider myself a fan of this show. I don't really feel sorry for him because although $2 million is a little much, he did kinda deserved it. He shouldn't be cheating on his girlfriend. I would definitely not want to live like a a celebrity. I don't like attention and I don't want people hanging over me all the time.

No, I have never seen his show before. I'm not a Letterman fan because I've never watched his show, and I don't want to. No, I don't feel sorry for him. In a way, he deserved it. No, I don't want to be a celebrity. I've never wanted to be a celebrity. They have too much drama. I don't want some person to stalk my child and plan to kidnap him. I don't want to be a celebrity because, I mean, yeah they have a lot of money, but I don't want to deal with the magazines, paparazzi, and all the extra stuff. It's just too much to handle.

I have not seen David Letterman's late night show and probably never will. I am not a Letterman fan but I don't have anything against him. I don't know if I could take the celebrity lifestyle just because of all the drama and stuff that goes on. I like to live in a quiet peaceful world with no one stalking people and asking them for millions of dollars. So I don't think I could handle that lifestyle.

No, I have never seen the David Letterman's late night show. I do not think that I will ever watch, sorry and I think that answers my question about being a fan of his. I am sorry but he is old and wrinkled I do not want to watch an old person on television late at night; it will probably give me nightmares. I not going to say I would not want to leave a celebrity lifestyle because I would be RICH! I would just try my best to keep my personal life private.

I have never watched the David Letterman show, and don't really know much about him but to me this is not funny at all. I can't wrap my head around a younger woman or any woman sleeping with a married man. You would have to think about his wife and all the things they have bee through in their marriage and now you're messing things up. I don't feel sorry for him at all, he knew he was married and he didn't have to make these choices.

I have never seen his show. So, I'm not really a fan. I don't feel sorry for him because he admitted to it and was joking around so he's acting like he doesn't care. I would not like to be a celebrity because they just have to much stuff to deal with. Like everything they say is taken the wrong way and they have no privacy.

No I have not seen David Letterman's show but I have heard of it before though. I do feel sorry for him just because of the fact that they tryed to emabarras him and they put him into an uncomfortable position like they did. When I get older I am hoping to become a professional basketball player so I wont be a celebrity but I would be famous and rich so if some body did something like that to me I would be really really really upset and angry.-Cadeja Wilson

I never seen the David Letterman's late night show, I would be sleep for school the next day, duh! I don't feel sorry for Letterman because I think he put that upon himself. Well, first I would not want to live a celebrity lifestyle because I would always be under a microscope and don't like when people judge all the time.

Having never actually seen David Letterman’s late night show, I cannot say that I am a fan. I do feel a little bit sorry for him though because everyone makes mistakes, but not everyone has to face the consequences for those actions in front of the whole world. This story shows that the celebrity lifestyle is not all that is cracked up. Everyone’s life has ups and downs, and even though celebrities have ups much higher than most people, their downs are a lot lower than most people’s as well. I believe that even though David Letterman did a bad thing, it’s not like he is the first person to ever mess up. Do not point fingers because you will always have three pointing back at you.-Nick Powell™♦

I have seen the late night show a couple of times but most of the time I was flipping through the channels and wasn't really pay him a lot of attention. I am not a fan of Letterman because he is not that funny to me and most of the time I am sleep when he comes on or watching something else. I do not feel sorry for Letterman because he knew what he was doing when he was doing it. No I would not want to live the celebrity lifestyle. The paparazzi people are everywhere and everyone is trying to get in your personal life. The money they make and the attention they get is the positive side of being a celebrity but when you get to the negative side of being a celebrity I would rather remain in my life.

I have seen the David Letterman's late night show. And no I am not a fan of his show, because he is boring. No I don't feel sorry for Letterman because he put himself in this situation. No I wouldn't want to be a celebrity because there is too much publicity and hassle for stars and there kids. Besides not everyone likes to be on camera and I am one of those people. James St. Peter
